I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The hotel was literally steps away from 5th Ave, which is where almost everything is found at Playa del Carmen. Staff at the hotel were friendly. I must admit I would have Iiked the floor of the hotel room to be a little cleaner. However all in all I liked the hotel and would stay here again.

We loved our weeklong stay here. The rainforest vibe and secluded pools and waterfalls were just the atmosphere we wanted, and the location away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood was as very appealing. We had a room with a garden and soaking tub that gave the place the feel of an expensive boutique hotel for a fraction of the cost. The breakfast included with our room was small but excellent, and we made good use of the bar's happy hour. Superb margaritas!

The property is gorgeous and so close to the beach and restaurants. We had the king bungalow tucked into the jungle landscape. Very private and quiet. My only complaint would be that the water pressure was not fantastic in the shower. I have found this to be typical in the area. I did not bring it up to the hotel staff as it was not a big deal, just a nuisance when trying to wash my hair. The room has mosquito repellent lotin but it is with citronella. You will definitely want something stronger if you plan to hang out in the hammock and are a mosquito magnet like me! Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would book here again.

Amazing place to stay in Playa del Carmen. The property has a beautiful tropical concept that makes you feel surrounded by nature, with palm trees and lush vegetation all around. Our one-bedroom apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a lovely terrace and hammocks that made the experience even more relaxing. The location is excellent! Only one block from Fifth Avenue with many restaurants and shops, and one block from the beach. The pool area is gorgeous and very well maintained. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Highly recommended!

Great choice in Playa del Carmen. The location is excellent. You are close to 5th Ave, but away from the super touristy part in the center. Mamitas beach is a five minute walk and the hotel will lend you beach chairs and umbrellas. The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. There is daily cleaning and lots of towels. My kids loved the towel Art. No problems with hot water. The pool is wonderful and was never busy. There is a hot tub. I would recommend a garden view room as it is very quiet and the balconies are large with hammocks for relaxing.

Liz, one of the staff at the hotel, was such a great help while checking in! Expedia falsely advertised two different rooms in Playa Del Carmen, but Liz saved our trip and upgraded our room for the false advertising from EXPEDIA!!!!

We were more than comfortable at the Riviera Maya. We loved the aesthetic, every night felt like we dozed off in the jungle. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Every day our bed was made, our towels freshened and our floors cleaned. We had a suite with a balcony and hammock that was great for relaxing. It’s right down 5ta Ave but once you’re in the hotel you wouldn’t even feel it as it is secure. We’ll definitely be staying again and bringing our parents! Oh and definitely take advantage of their partnership with Fragata Beach Club. It’s a small place but it is very modern, clean, well staffed and just an excellent experience.
