"Staff was great, location was perfect"

"Booked a kitchen suite for a 4 night/5 day stay for mother/daughter weekend due to the location and Best Western brand. Check in was great. Lobby was clean and staff were pleasant. Room layout was good too. Housekeeping was the worst I have ever experienced. It's clear there is a lack of interest in the job and that management doesn't manage. I had to ask for sugar refills for my coffee, there was French fries on the floor even though we didn't have fries in the room, the shower curtain had dirt on it, there was mud/blood/something on the shower ceiling and the kitchen fridge didn't work either. I put a glass of water in the freezer overnight and it was still water the next day. I completely understand that things happen and staff did address each issue but the consistent need to reach out for basic housekeeping was gross and unacceptable. I don't work there and shouldn't need to tell staff what to do. I do expect more when paying $300+ per night."

"Staff and facilities were excellent and the room was a good size. The shower was a bit low (height) and water pressure was too high in the shower, no easy way to turn down. Not relaxing, more of an assault with water. Overall stay was good, just shower could be improved. Nobody needs 500L / min flow "
