« We stayed for 4 nights on this side of the island to go to the national park and explore around Hilo. This house is very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The fans cool it off in the night fairly quickly, but it can get pretty hot in the day without an AC. Great communication from the owner leading up to the trip. »

« Good location to take advantage of the Hilo area and the east side of the Big Island. Very clean and safe. Beautiful home. Had just about everything we needed during our stay. We would stay here again, book with confidence. Left us a nice welcome package and included a dozen fresh eggs. Very much appreciated. One little thing, there is a gas grill, but if you use it there is an additional cleaning fee. That should have been disclosed in the property description. »

« What a delightful stay we had in our beautifully appointed clean as a whistle VRBO on the Hamakua coast of the big island. It had absolutely everything one would need and then some (thoughtful sleep masks). Large refrigerator, washer and dryer, extremely well equipped. The fresh fruit and fresh eggs in the fridge was just a great touch. All this and the adorable unobtrusive little pets and chickens made this a perfect stay Big Mahalo to Dan and Mollie, great hosts »

« Nous sommes demeurés dans la maison du 21 au 28 juillet 2023. Maison située à environ 30 minutes de Hilo et environ 1h45 de la côte Ouest (Costco). Secteur très tranquille. Aucune plage proche. Maison propre. Le seul petit problème c'est la toilette dans une des chambres n'a pas de ventilation et ça sens mauvais après 2 jours. Pas de BBQ au gaz, seulement un tout petit BBQ au charbons dont la grille est très sale. Lors de notre séjours, il pleuvait à tous les jours, seulement dans le secteur....

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....
