« I booked this property less than 24 hours before my arrival. The hist was very responsive and accommodating. The house is just as pictured. We got plenty of use out of the hammock out back. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the master was nice, although with a nice breeze, it wasn't needed all night. Would definitely stay again. »

« This was our second time this year staying at this beautiful, warm, welcoming, and quiet home attending Hilo events, as we live in Kona. We returned because we love it so much and it accommodates my family and elderly mother. Love the AC in each room and lots of seating in the living, dining rooms and on the balcony. « We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« Simone provided detailed information on getting to the place, parking spot with pictures which made it very easy even though we arrived late. The place itself is beautiful with a lot of nice touches. It was themed true to the pineapple loft name :). There were a lot of beach gear for us to use, books to read, indoor games to play. The kitchen had all the essentials needed to make a meal and the fans and window ac in the bedrooms helped us sleep well. The place itself felt like home. »

« For our purpose this stop was wonderful. The two hosts are as good as it gets and the setting and the room is so much better than any resort, etc. Super peaceful and beautiful! I'll list the cons: the bathroom oddities as noted by others, and there is nowhere that is "desk-like" to put a laptop. These "cons" didn't apply to us - we loved it! Did I mention the cacao tree? »

« Nous sommes demeurés dans la maison du 21 au 28 juillet 2023\. Maison située à environ 30 minutes de Hilo et environ 1h45 de la côte Ouest (Costco). Secteur très tranquille. Aucune plage proche. Maison propre. Le seul petit problème c'est la toilette dans une des chambres n'a pas de ventilation et ça sens mauvais après 2 jours. Pas de BBQ au gaz, seulement un tout petit BBQ au charbons dont la grille est très sale. Lors de notre séjours, il pleuvait à tous les jours, seulement dans le secteur....

« The house was fantastic - great condition and cozy and comfortable. They even provided beach gear like boogie boards, snorkels and beach towels, not to mention local coffee and cookies on arrival. The location was close to grocery stores, easy to get to downtown, and close to the beaches as well. Only downside were loud roosters in the neighborhood, but that's just part of being in Hilo. Overall the stay was fantastic and would definitely stay here next time we're in the area »

Réfection de chambre très tardive (aux alentours de 17h). 2 restaurants sympas dans l'hôtel. 2 salles 2 ambiances aux alentours de l'hôtel : l'une avec parc et promenade super agréable et l'autre avec bâtiments abandonnés et squats."

"Accueil très sympathique au Check-In avec une jolie réception. L’espace extérieur est super avec un accès à la piscine (un peu petite). L’hôtel en lui même aurait besoin d’une rénovation, surtout au niveau des chambres et des salles de bain, mais le confort est tout de même là avec une literie de qualité. Attention au ménage, notre réfrigérateur n’était même pas vidé à notre arrivée. De plus, le service « voiturier » est à revoir ! 25$ par nuit et le chauffeur n’a même pas été capable de conduire notre voiture prétextant que notre véhicule était en panne… pas très professionnel. Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel, c’était un très bon séjour dans l’ensemble, malgré quelques points à revoir ! "
