"No locks on door not even a chain lock. Big holes in screen door that has a lock. Unsafe. Someone could access your room if they wanted to very easily. Unacceptable safety wise. No ocean view. Reviews are monitored by host and that’s why there’s no reviews about the bad safety conditions."

"The front desk staff were Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! They immediately replaced the refrigerator when we told them the freezer wasn’t working! We were disappointed at first because the room had no TV, but it forced us to talk with others and catch up on what’s happening in our lives! We’ll definitely recommend Arnott’s Lodge in Hilo!!"
