Holua Resort

Holua Resort

8/10 Good
"Our family enjoyed our stay here. The property is very well kept. The room was very clean although the AC had a little smell lingering. Every basic thing was available especially for the kitchen. There is no housekeeping so you can just call the front desk and ask if you need to replenish whatever’s. One thing I’d like to mention is that after you check in, they have you go to another desk for this time share thing which we weren’t interested in. They will hold $40 on your card and if you do not attend the presentation, the $40 will auto charge to your card. If you are not interested in that, I recommend just letting them know that you are not interested."

Dragonfly Ranch

"We stayed for just one night but it one of those places that is very ‘hawaii.’ While it’s not a Four Seasons, but the rooms were comfy, the scenery was stunning and the breakfast was simple but oh-so-fresh (fruits, eggs, toast and the tastiest coffee). Be ready for some nature in the rooms - we had a few geckos visit us as well as a frog hiding in the toilet (he escaped just fine!) - the staff is such a delight and eating breakfast on the lanai was perfect."

Delightful Artful Bungalow on Historic Estate Property. Choice Holualoa!

Delightful Artful Bungalow on Historic Estate Property. Choice Holualoa!

10/10 Excellent
"We had the best stay there! The surroundings are so beautiful in pictures and picuresc: filled with blooming flowers, different types of fruit on the trees all around the largest state. It’s a place to get away from all the chaos of people to relax and just let your body catch up with your soul. I would recommend this place over and over and over! Lisa is just wonderful to work with. She is kind and thoughtful. Leave you alone but it’s very communicative to any needs. The room that we stayed in the Bungalow is small, but perfect! We mostly were outside in the deck area, enjoying coffee in the morning. The kitchen is spacious enough. I would only recommend maybe a small broom to have, but I did stay there longer than maybe most people I stayed 10 days.I would recommend this place highly for anybody who wants to get away and have quiet and enjoy peace in the mornings or afternoons or evenings. It’s just perfect and you can sit out and catch the sunset which is just beautiful.MahaloK.Graham"

Kona Coast Original Beach Boys 9.5 acre Estate, Pool and Amazing Ocean Views

Kona Coast Original Beach Boys 9.5 acre Estate, Pool and Amazing Ocean Views

10/10 Excellent
"This is a really cool property. We had a hard time finding somewhere big enough for our multigenerational group. This house gave us plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are huge and the kids enjoyed exploring and finding different fruits. The host is great, super responsive and helpful. Was a little concerned about not having central AC but it cools down at night and wasn’t bad with the windows open. The house is secluded so you definitely need a car and be prepared for a lot of driving if you plan to be out of the house."

"From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The room was great and spacious. It does get cold at night, but there is a portable heater in the room. The staff was literally a text away. I didn't want for anything. John was very pleasant and a joy to talk to. I will definitely put this on my hotels to stay at again."
