Spectacular Long Range Mountain Views From Wrap-Around Deck

Relax and enjoy the 5-star amenities of this upscale beautiful cabin, superbly decorated with all wood interior and exterior. It is close to town, a golf course, the famous John Campbell Folk School and just 10 minutes away from downtown Murphy, Harrah's Casino and grocery shopping.

House Cleaning between guests apply strict sanitizing rules for your safety! The cabin also has a NANOinduct air purifier, ensuring the air you breathe will protect you from Viruses, Mold, Bacteria, Dust, and more...

Enjoy the best nature has to offer and conveniently located near some of the best outdoor adventures in the country, including whitewater rafting, zip lining, horseback riding, hiking, beautiful waterfalls, fishing and only 20 minutes from Deals Gap ( trail of the dragon ), for bikers. It is only a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains train adventures, zip lining at Andrews, water rafting, Gatlinburg, Dollywood and the historic Biltmore Estate.

The cabin is semi handicapped accessible, including a walk in shower with a grab bar and built in seat. There are only three shallow steps from the entry to wrap around deck and all on one level.

The cabin features a large open floor plan with high ceilings and is great for entertaining! The kitchen is large and fully equipped and there is a separate dining area. The laundry area has a full size washer and dryer. The great room features a beautiful stone gas log fireplace all the way to the ceiling peak. The split bedroom plan provides a private large master bedroom with a king-size bed, a desk area & full bath with double sinks and walk in shower with a built in bench . It also has a flat screen TV. The guest bedroom, at the other end of the cabin has a queen size bed, a desk and dresser and a flat screen TV. It also has a board game cabinet with lots of games. The second full bath is right off this bedroom.The walk-in closet also has a roll-a-way bed in it. The cabin sleeps 5 people and is equipped with WiFi internet services. All linens are provided.

You will enjoy gorgeous views from the wrap around porch, including five peak long range mountains, large mountains facing the west for incredible sunsets and Brasstown valley that resembles Little Switzerland.

There is a beautiful fire pit area with seating on the property overlooking the mountains.

Relax and enjoy the best nature has to offer, with deer, birds of all kinds, wild turkey and playful squirrels on the one 1.5 acre property. You will also enjoy the rushing mountain waters of the Hiawassee River, along with the covered pavilion with picnic benches, fire pit and grill right next to the river. Small to medium size dogs will be considered. They must be well groomed, no fleas, toenails trimmed, outdoor potty trained and when you leave the cabin without them, placed in their crate.

It was the best rental we have ever stayed at! The location was great! The home was very comfortable! We slept so well! It was a clean & spacious cabin with beautiful landscaping and a gorgeous view! We loved the river and so did our dog! Judy was so sweet and was there for us if we had any questions for her. We loved the paved roads all the way to the door! It is not steep on the roads, you just have to drive slowly through the development. There were deer around every corner. We will stay there again!

It’s a lovely cabin with a fabulous porch that you won’t want to leave. The cabin was clean and well-stocked and very comfortable. We visited the area to attend classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School and it was less than ten minutes away!

We have been staying at VRBO's for over 10 years. This cabin and owner is by far the best location and owner we have ever had. Judy could not have been more helpful. She is outstanding! The cabin is fully furnished and is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I have already reserved time for next year. We were very blessed to be able to stay in Judy's cabin.

This was our NINTH stay in this neighborhood and first stay in this cabin and it was wonderful. We can't wait to book again. The cabin is roomy, clean and fully stocked. We loved being on a dead end with no neighbors on one side of us. The mountain view was AMAZING. My husband and I sat each evening on the porch watching the sun set and deer that visited the front yard. We actually tried to book for next year, same time and it's already booked but we'll definitely book again. 10 out of 10.

Our weekly stay started out with rain the first full day. Afterwards, everyday was sunny and beautiful. Made for a great week of mountain riding. The cabin was beautiful and pretty close to the grocery store and various restaurants. Judy the owner, is about as pleasant of a person as you can find.

Our little get away

Exactly what you see in pictures, beautiful!!! Interior design was the best cabin we have stayed in. We loved the porch!!!!! Deer, birds,squirrels and hummingbirds when we were there, would recommend for a peaceful and restful place to go! Everything was great, would rent again!!!!

Judy was very helpful and accommodating, great host! The house has a beautiful view. The kitchen is stocked with everything one needs to cook a meal. The beds are comfy, and it's so peaceful on the mountain that you'll sleep like a baby. We spent the week at John C Campbell. Folk School, wish we had had more time to enjoy the view from the deck.

Relaxing from Folk School
This comfortable cozy cabin provided a needed retreat from my Folk School class. I love Folk School, but it certainly was nice to have a perfect place to relax when finished for the evening. Super porches, nice roomy rooms. There are 3 steps going up to the porch but then it's all on one level. I really enjoyed the walk-in shower and the king size bed on the main level. There were desks in both the main and the guest room, if you need to do a little work while your here. Judy checked in to make sure all was good at check in. I came in February and the weather was awesome, but I would note if the weather was snowy or icy, the hill may be difficult to navigate without a four wheel drive.

Winter Getaway
Living in Miami Beach the mountains were just what we needed. From the reservation to the visit and departure, everything thing went very smooth. Judy was very much on top of all the questions and needs and the home was completely equipped for relaxing and cooking. Post-holiday peacefulness at Haven in the Hills
Overall, we had a wonderful time during our 8 night stay. The owner provided everything you could possibly need for that length stay and then some. The cabin is well-stocked for cooking and coziness, with plenty of space for two to four people to move about with ease. Since it was just the spouses on this trip. we only used the master bedroom and bath, but the secondary was quite nice as well and clean. Plenty of games available if you wish to stay indoors for the day. The appliances worked great, and the inside laundry was a nice feature to have. We also appreciated all of the Things To Do brochures, books and the binder that the owner prepared. Very helpful! The cabin was tidy and clean, and we felt more than comfortable there. I would suggest a quick dusting of the ceiling fans however for those with dust allergies. The cabin was decorated so cute for Christmas and the fireplace was just lovely and operated with total ease! The neighborhood is cabins only but well spaced, and we felt safe coming and going without any concern. Even chatted with a neighbor on our morning walks up the steep roadway. Great place to get in some leg exercises! ;) We truly have no complaints, and are planning to return this Fall for another week. We had actually wanted to extend our stay last week, but could not reach the owner for permission. This is out of character for her, so we do sincerely hope that she is alright. The cabin is quite close to Murphy and Brasstown. It was the perfect choice for a relaxing and peaceful post-holiday getaway. Looking forward to a return trip!

Anniversary weekend
Cozy cabin was very welcoming. Deer were all over the yard and surrounding land. We loved the king bed and fireplace! This was the best stocked cabin we have ever rented. My husband wants to book for next year same week before anyone gets it. I wish we stayed more than three nights. Judy we so appreciate you sharing your home with us!

Relaxing time. Loved the cabin and the area.
Everything went well. The check-out was a bit cumbersome. It seems more and more rentals require extra chores for guests. This cabin requires off site garbage disposal or pay cleaning personnel an extra $20.00. Not just running dishwasher but also putting away all dishes. Strip and start load of bed linens and a checkout time of 1000a. Seems like alot considering you are already being charged a cleaning fee.
