"Ok so the appartment was a little bit tired looking but it provided us with everything we needed and more, in a convenient location very close to shops and the beach, and at a very reasonable price. Very nice hosts too."

After wandering around in the dark for awhile, we spoke to a lady walking around the building who apparently worked there or owned it. She led us to an office +unmarked). At first, they could not find our reservation. Finally, they found it and we were led by the same lady to another building in the dark. No outside lights were turned on and there were many steps...

"We were met by our pleasant host and given clear directions about the place itself and how to get to local attractions. We were surprised there were no cookware at all, although provided a convenient oven and 2 burner stovetop. The clothes washer worked well. And having parking at the grocery next door was very convenient."

The mansion is beautiful, our room was amazing with a private balcony and the pool looks over the valley and Heraklion. Go to the village restaurant Stelios recommends, it was one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. I saw a review complaining about a dog, the property has a fence around it and a gate so I don’t understand the complaint. I also didn’t hear or see a dog and the area seemed...

"The hotel was clean but no one to solve problems. No internet service due to management not turning our room number on- very very very poor. Washing machine provided but no instructions and would not turn off or release door to remove clothes. Four hours of non stop running. No one around to help- owner left town."

"What an amazing holiday in beautiful accommodation, with a fantastic host in Jules, helped by Misha & Fig. The holiday was perfect from start to finish (Apart from a slight mishap on night one! Sorry Jules!). The accommodation has an incredible view, which changes hour by hour and is really quite breathtaking. The pool is fantastic and the apartment spacious and very well fitted out."
