My standard LAX layover hotel. Super easy and frequent shuttles to/from airport. They always grant you early check in when you ask nicely. I frequently fly from Australia and the planes generally come in very early in the morning. I have showed up there at 7am and they will find a room for you.

Great speedy check-in, clean room, nice pool, easy to catch Ubers outside and love the 24Hr airport shuttle. The only thing that I felt uneasy with is I noticed the security staff following me around a bit and after a while asked me if I had a room there. I had already stayed there 2 nights and had 1 last night there. The way they went about it made me feel pretty uncomfortable. I could see them watching me after that too. They could’ve just asked to see a room key to make it easy and leave me alone.

Had to change room because the security lock was broken and room had a strong cigarette smell. New room had a non working safe. Hotel security personal came and said it was a battery problem. They left and never came back and did not contact us
