"The room lacked decor and was very plain. The apartment was missing some basic supplies like hand towels, bath mat, paper towels, dish drying rack etc.. The cookware was of very low/poor quality. The view to the shipyard was a surprise. Finally, there is HEAVY construction all around the apartment making it unpleasant to stay in the apartment during the day time."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"This is a beautiful, modern, clean well kept property in the very heart of portside Puerto Morelos. The bed, linens and towels are lovely. Water pressure is awesome and the water gets hot right away!!!It is exactly as the pictures show. Restaurants and bars are immediately beside you and you can quickly and easily walk to the beach. "We adored Puerto Morellos. Fabulous beach and lots of great beach restaurants. Quiet town with lots of restaurants and live music. The property was cute and the staff very responsive and nice. Our only complaint was the sewer system which was emitting odour in our suite by the end of our stay. "

"Room was really nice and clean. Ingrit, from housekeeping was excellent, very kind and professional! All the staff was very friendly, especially Eduardo from the entertainment staff, he was very friendly, always quick with a smile, a hello and a friendly hug. The bartenders at the swim up bar, Rosi, Dalia and Leydi were amazing! The food was really good and the entire resort was beautiful and very clean! Really enjoyed all the wildlife at the resort!!"

"We just got back from AVA Resort in Cancun and had an awesome stay. The property is beautiful, extremely clean, and very well maintained. From check-in to checkout, the staff was welcoming and attentive. We traveled with our boys and this place is truly family friendly. There was plenty for them to do, and we never felt like it was “adults only” or geared one direction. It had a great balance — fun energy but still relaxing. The Friends & Family room was a huge hit. It gave us plenty of space to spread out, hang together, and still have privacy when needed. Perfect setup for a family trip. Great amenities, solid food options, and an overall vibe that made it easy to enjoy time together. We’d definitely come back."

"We had our transportation booked through Moon Palace, unfortunately we were dropped off at the wrong location (The Grand) and our stay was at Sunrise, easily redirected by staff to the lobby lobby bus to take us to Sunrise. Check in took a little longer than expected but there was a long line up. The resort was absolutely beautiful and we were just in time to hit up the lunch buffet as we had to wait til check in time for our room to be ready. The food was AMAZING the entire stay, like 20/10 between Sunrise and Nizu, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The room was gorgeous, bed was so comfortable I wanted to pack it in my duffle bag. the views from our 3rd floor room were spectacular. Jess that does the activities with guest did such an amazing job, she literally made us workout and have fun the whole day!! We loved her !! The resort had so much to offer to keep you busy, I can honestly go on and on about how amazing Moon Palace is, I’d rebook in a heartbeat. Best resort I’ve stayed at"

"We went to celebrate my hubby’s and BIL ‘s birthdays and retirements. From the start to the end everything was great. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. Marcelo at the Boathouse is the best. Although the weather was not our friend while we were there, the pools are nice and servers very attentive. The food is very good. Liked the alternative lunch buffet to mix it up. The theme nights at The Boathouse were fun and food yummy. Marcello connected us with how to make the Mexican night extra special which was fun. The folks at JWB’s were wonderful for my hubby’s bday night by doing a little singing and celebration. You really can’t go wrong at any of the restaurants. The grounds are impeccable and housekeeping is fantastic. LOVED the turn downs at night. Literally my only issue I had was the overwhelming use of scents in the lobby and gift shop. I have asthma and that level of air fresheners triggers asthma attacks. That is where the lobby bar is so only spent one evening there with a mask. 😢 Would definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing vacation. "
