"Overall,a good stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. Theo at the front desk was great. My only suggestion - the kettles need to be changed. They are not fit/safe for use - rusting, scaling and shedding.."

"On Monday morning, the hotel had contract works on the front steps, and the worker started jack hammering at 7 am. We complained as did other guests at the front desk. Very annoying."

"The staff was helpful. The cleaning was well done as well. The only thing which disappointed me that the bathroom was not having sufficient soap and handwash. There was no toothpaste and no comb. Other than that everything was pretty good. The location is very nice in downtown. Everything is very accessible."

"Spacious room, high ceilings, lots of storage space, clean, kitchen fully equipped, excellent daily cleaning. Very quiet. Older hotel, but everything functions. Comfortable bed, pillows could have variety of firmness, felt old, but lots of pillows. Staff friendly. Everything waking distance. Would stay again."

"Very comfortable beds, blackout screen for sleeping is great. Housekeeping has to improve in both rooms and hallways. Dirty glasses and towels were left in the room and no vacuuming or dusting was done. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful "

"Very nice location for 1st time travels as we were just across from McGill University and a very direct route to the Mount Royal lookout (lots of steps). Although we didn’t do much via the hotel amenities, it was unfortunate the hotel pool area was out of order! This is a decently dated hotel in terms of rooms but we did have plenty of space for a 2bedroom suite (basically 3 connecting rooms) and that was perfect for our family of 4! Would recommend primarily for the location and need it essential space! Definitely would have enjoyed if there were newer amenities or upgrades to the property!"
