    Adventure starts at your doorstep. Our driveway serves as the trailhead entrance to the Strawberry Creek pathway, located just 250 feet from the cabin. It’s a beautiful, easy way to immerse yourself in nature without needing to drive to a trailhead.

    Traveling with a larger group? Our "Big Sister" property, IdyllLodge, is located directly next door. When booked together, these two estates create a combined 1.5-acre sanctuary in the heart of the Historic District—perfect for multi-family gatherings or executive retreats.

    Idyllcottage features a keyless entry system for a seamless, contact-free arrival. Your unique access code will be activated on the day of your stay, allowing you to head up the mountain and check in at your convenience. You will receive your code and arrival instructions three days before you arrive.

    Idyllcottage was built in 1924 originally as a barn but has since been converted into a charming, rustic cabin. Packed with loads of character and unique touches, Idyllcottage is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or a fun adventure for a small family.

    Idyllcottage is within walking distance to town, only 1/2 mile to the heart of town and even closer to the north side of town where there are many shops and restaurants. just be sure to save some energy for the journey back as its coming home is uphill. Live it up in town without worrying about having to drive home later, as there is no Uber or Lyft in our mountains.

All of our Experience Idyllwild retreats are located within a mile of each other—including our "Big Sister" property, IdyllLodge, which is directly next door.     Being adjacent to North Circle Drive offers unmatched convenience. Please note:

    * Posiible LIve Music Perk: Most guests love sitting in the hot tub listening to live folk music drifting over from Cafe Aroma. They strictly abide by mountain quiet hours, and all live music stops by 9 PM. Pro-Tip: Check the Cafe Aroma website for their live music calendar to see if anyone will be playing during your stay!

    Nightly Minimums:
    Weekends typically require a 2-night minimum; holidays and events may require 3-4 nights. Every booking is reviewed before acceptance to ensure these requirements are met.

    Professional Cleaning:
    Your comfort is our priority. All of our cabins are professionally cleaned by our longtime, trusted local cleaning company using high-grade disinfectants on all surfaces and linens.

    TV & Tech:
    * WiFi: High-speed internet included.
    * Streaming: Roku TV provided; please use your own logins for Netflix/Hulu.
    * Cable: No traditional cable TV is provided.

    House Rules:
    * No Parties: Riverside County quiet hours are 10pm–7am.
