"Very clean nice home. Only big suggestion is a propane grill rather then the small charcoal grill. Also shower door and regular door in bathroom of master bedroom need attention. Owner very accomadating. Would rent again- with hopes of different grill."

"Beautiful cottage, clean, excellent view. We used the boat every day. It was gassed up and worked fine. There is a wood pile for camp fires. Muliple kyaks, canoes, and a stand up paddleboard. I saw loons on the lake (first time for me) and we heard owls at night. The fridge was clean and empty when we arrived...so you do need to bring any condiments, etc you might need. They do have salt & pepper. They have a kerig and a regular drip coffee pot. Highly recommend staying here...we hope to come...

The assistance getting our luggage to the house was so helpful. We enjoyed much of the island, walking and biking. Our large family felt very at home. There was plenty of room and the house has so much charm and character. Everyone we ran into knew the house and spoke so kindly of the family. We can’t wait to go back."

"This appartment is right in the middle of the action at Alex Bay. Easy walking to the shops, restaurants and bars. Great view of the town dock. It was very peaceful in the mornings, sitting on the deck, watching the boaters and people coming and going. The appartment was very clean and spacious. It was a great home base for enjoying A-Bay and the river. Our hosts were on site and wonderful to us. We would definately book this appartment again."

"If you like a cabin with some quirky character, this one will suit you just fine! It feels like an old cabin that has been expanded a few times - a plywood floored entrance way that was added on holds outdoor activity equipment, a washer and dryer and the trash cans. It’s a good area for dusting off before entering the main cabin. The cabin has a nice sized kitchen with a table that will seat six, adequate prep area, and reasonably stocked. There are two mid sized bedrooms in the main cabin as...

"We had a great stay at this house. The home had all we needed for our 6 day stay. Plenty of beds and chill space for everyone. The location and river access were great. It is a hike to get to the river but we were aware of that from the property details. We visited off season so we weren’t getting in the water but it would have been perfect water access if it were summer. Ed and Karina were attentive and responsive but we had no issues. We would certainly book again!! Thanks so much!!"
