"Location is within a short walk to the village which allowed us to explore, revist and connect with our new favorite businesses; however, the property was literally encased by boats. Boats in the front yard concelled the cottage, Boats on either side of the property were parked in the drveways which caused confusion, and jostling for parking on property. Inside was welcoming and clean which provided an nice retreat for a long weekend stay."

"The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet....

"Screened in porch takes you to the river edge and watching the big ships on the St. Lawrence was a new experience. (There's even an app to track them.) Open floor plan with lots of room. Country cozy with the comforts of home. Hope to return and stay longer next time. Charming host!"

"This home in Alexandria Bay was a perfect location for our small family gathering. The house is immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for making home cooked meals. Plus, the short walk to Alexandria Bay makes it a perfect location for enjoying all that the area has to offer. The available kayaks and yard games added to the fun! Paul is a wonderful host, and answered all of my questions, both before and during our stay. We would definitely love to stay at Paul’s place again in...

"Great property for family and pets. Lots of room outside for games and set around the fire at night. Pool was a nice addition but owner still working at repairs to the area. House had plenty of space for the nine in our group"
