This incredible beach home was designed for the perfect family vacation. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, it's just a short walk or bicycle trip to the beach, shopping and the lighthouse. Enjoy the view of the ocean from the large upper level sundeck.

Ground Level: Outside amenities include the outside shower, basketball hoop, and a charcoal grill. Inside you'll find a Bedroom with a DuoBunk and laundry with washer and dryer.

Mid Level: Queen Master Bedroom, Queen Bedroom that shares a full bath with a Bedroom with DuoBunk and Trundle, and Den with TV and foosball table. All bedrooms have deck access.

Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD and gas fireplace, dining room seating 8, half bath, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating 4, and a King Master Bedroom with whirlpool and deck access.

Extras: 2 TVs, DVD player, stereo with CD, high-speed wireless internet access, book libraries, high chair, baby gate, foosball table, basketball hoop, outside shower, gas fireplace (available November 1-April 30), charcoal grill, linens and towels provided and Villages at Ocean Hill Community Amenities. Special Events Welcome, 50 guests. No Smoking. No Pets.Seasonal Flex Stay available from October 1 - May 15. House Address: 1211 Windance Lane. Distance to beach access: 2460'. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Special Event Details: This home offers Special Event accommodations for your Outer Banks Wedding or special event allowing up to 50 guests to attend your event. This home may only be over-occupied during the event date and the event times listed on the Special Events Request Form and Lease Addendum required to be signed and returned with your Lease Agreement. Tents and canopies can't be placed anywhere on the premises without permission from Brindley Beach Vacations. (unless otherwise advertised). Every Special Event reservation will have 2 additional fees that are further explained on the Special Events Request form and Lease Addendum: (1) Event Security Deposit: $1500, this security deposit is refundable pending no damage is done to the home during your vacation lease period. The security deposit will be used to pay for carpet cleaning if needed after the event, or any other damages done to the home during your vacation lease period/event. (2) Event Fee: $1000, the event fee is a mandatory fee paid in addition to the rental rate on all special event reservations.

Family vacation
Was nice..trash was left in driveway full..a peice of door trim was in middle of floor upstairs. And the beds were all very hard and uncomfortable..other then those issues it was a nice place to visit. Our first family vacation in a long time. We researched a bit more once we were down there and would probably visit this area again every summer...for the price we believe there other properties a bit nicer with some amenities we would enjoy. Thanks

Nice house but needs some TLC
I’ll start with the negatives. We got a call at 1, the day of arrival that the AC didn’t work on the first and second floor, that they were working on it and would install window units. That was fine, except one bedroom didn’t have a unit and got very hot bc the other guests didn’t want to leave their bedroom doors open. AC was worked on every other day by someone but never fixed. Upon arrival at 520pm, keep in mind check in is at 4, we arrived to the house at the same time as the cleaners. We were told we couldn’t come in until it was clean and it would only take 20 minutes. They left and the house wasn’t cleaned well as they weren’t there long. Neither set of bunk beds had bedding on it, just tossed onto it. Cabinet doors broke off 24 hours in, put in a repair order and it took a few days to get it repaired. Bugs. There is a huge bug issue in this house. Cockroaches, spiders, ants. I asked neighbors if they had a problem with bugs and even my sister who stayed on the 4x4 beach and both said no. My daughter went to get a towel from her room and s cockroach crawled out of it. Outdoor shower had crushed beer cans in it and swim suits from the last guests. Pool is only open 10-6. Positives - there were bikes, beach chairs , umbrellas, boogie boards, which was great. The view was great, bedrooms spacious. 10 minute walk to the beach or to the pool and a short drive from the store. We will most likely pick another house next year.

Quiet culdesac.
Great time in Corolla. House close to beach, bike riding a pleasure on well kept roads. A few minute drive to nice places for food & drinks. “Food Lion” close for any forgotten necessities or treats. Brindley made our reservation process very simple. Make sure you visit the horses.

Check in was terrible, they didn’t let me know when it was ready, so we finally just went at 6:00 and got in, poor communication, and I got charged fees from both VRBO and Brindley, probably won’t get through them again

My Opinion
For the price and location I have no complaints. As a vacation property owner myself its clear that this home is owned by an investment organization. Weeds were overgrown, green mildew on home, cobwebs, outdated furniture, tv's and appliances. Spend 10-15K and modernize the home and some TLC.

Lightbulbs burned out. Fan not working. These were taken care of when we informed the agency. Washer's handle was broken. Kitchen was not stocked well. Painting or staining the front steps would make a great improvement to the exterior appeal.

Be Prepared for Traffic and a Wildlife Getaway
Cleanliness was our biggest concern, after reading review, but it was OK. Not great, but how 16,000 rentals get cleaned in six hours, I'll never know. The biggest issue/benefit of this property is the location. It is about a thousand feet from the Currituck Reserves, which makes for an amazing wildlife experience. However, the traffic getting in and out is insane. During the week, if it rains, the traffic on route 12 is a complete standstill. Be prepared, plan to walk or bike a lot, and schedule activities for off-hours as much as possible. For the negatives of the congestion, our vacation was absolutely amazing. My large family had a great time, lived on the beach, dined at home a lot, and went for excursions every other day. Being so far north, there is tons of room on the beaches and local activities. It was the most relaxing vacation we have had, probably ever.

Do not stay here
The kitchen refrigerator was dirty, food and garbage on the floor in a bedroom, dirty windows and doors, 1/4 inch of dust on the air conditioner vents and air filter, large stain on rug, and garbage in the front and back yards. Safety problems: a bedroom sliding glass door that does not close all the way or lock, refrigerator shelf door that falls off the door, and broken outdoor chair. General disrepair: towel bar hanging out of wall, broken vertical blinds, box springs material is shredded, missing knobs on a dresser, lampshades missing screws to hold them on, no spindle to hold toilet paper.

Reasonable Price, but Not Well Maintained Property
We loved the location near the 4x4 beach and the subdivision with pool. It was a beautiful week and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their time in the ocean, in the community pool, playing putt-putt golf, getting ice cream and walking nature trails along the sound. We were not as impressed with the actual house itself as it seemed to us that there were quite a number of things not well maintained, including broken window blinds, comforters in heaps in closets (not cleaned and wrapped), toilet paper holders coming out of the wall, shrubbery around house growing up and many walls needing to be repainted
