Upstairs, unwind in the open-concept studio space with a queen bed, plush loveseat, and a large smart TV with YouTube TV—ideal for movie nights or lazy mornings. Stay connected with fast Wi-Fi and start your day with a fresh cup from the Keurig at your private coffee station.

The well-stocked kitchenette includes a full-size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, plug-in cooktop, sink, dishes, and silverware—everything you need for easy meals or snacks after a day of adventure.

Traveling with kids or extra guests? The entry-level bunk area features a twin-over-full bunk bed that comfortably sleeps up to three.

Please note: this loft is accessed by exterior stairs and includes interior stairs to the main living area. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

We were traveling with two kids and the bunkbed in an open room situation didn't work well for us. Our kids need a room with a door but that's on us, not the house. One thing that does need to be addressed is the insane squeakiness of the metal bunk bed with each slight move of the person sleeping in it. It kept us all up a while before my kids fell asleep and got still. I walked the neighborhood early in the morning and felt safe.

We are a family of 5 with kids from 6yo- 12. In the morning we are not quiet. When we stay in a hotel I have to shush my kids about 100 time so we don’t disturb the hotel rooms beside and below us. This guest house was far enough away from everything else that we just got to have fun in the morning and be our loud selves. The it was very clean and seemingly pretty new. We were able to walk down to the little pond in the backyard as seen on the description. It was a nice little retreat for a few minutes. I would recommend this guest house to anyone.

Had a few minor issues during our stay and the property owners were always quick to help. Property was very clean and in a very safe area of town. Has all amenities you may need and all check in instructions are very thorough to avoid any problems. Overall great time!

We loved our time in the Bardominium. The host couldn't have been nicer and was in great communication with us. Everything we needed was there and the place was clean and comfortable. We loved being able to sit out on the balcony and see the chickens in the morning as we drank our morning coffee. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Chelsea!

This barndo was exactly what we were looking for! A perfect secluded place while still within driving distance to many shops and restaurants. We especially loved drinking our morning coffee on the balcony and watching the chickens. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

The place was very nice and clean! The owners were very nice and friendly. The neighborhood was very quiet and more of a rural setting. But only a few minutes from town. If we ever come back to the area I would definitely stay here again!

We were there for an MLF event on Lay Lake and the Expo on Birmingham, so this was a perfect halfway mark to locate for travel times to both locations. The setup was great and we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Thanks for hosting us! I would definitely recommend this location. (If you can’t walk up stairs, then you may need another location.) Great place and we would use it again if the need arises.

Quiet and peaceful surroundings in a neighborhood. We loved watching chickens close by. Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. However, heating and cooling was a little complicated. It would be nice to have written instructions of heating and cooling. We had to put remote by door of cold air to try to keep it warm inside. The thermostat is on the remote. We googled how to control the of heating.

We loved our stay at the Barndominium! It is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Chelsea and was fairly convenient to 280. The lower level features the entrance and a bunk bed and the upper level is the main floor with bathroom, living area, kitchen and queen sized bed. There is laundry access and a nice deck on the back with views of the fields and woods and the host's chicken coop. We enjoyed watching the chickens. The place is very clean and new. It was a bit difficult with just the one bathroom and the bunk beds below could use a table and lamp or something else, but overall, for myself, my husband, and our two young adult kids it totally worked. The host was so great about answering all my questions and got back to me quickly. We would definitely stay here again!
