I knew by the online pics that these cabins are very basic and inexpensive. And that's fine for the one night I needed to stay and for a low $120 price. I was just disappointed in the lack of maintenance and upkeep. There were quite a few items that were not working or in dismal condition. The cabins have great potential, they just need some maintenance. Here's my cons list:
One of the electrical outlets will short out that circuit if you plug something in. Another one was just hanging out of the wall.
One of the two lamps was broken.
Porch light was out.
Bathroom fan was out.
Possible mildew in the bathroom
Window shades were pretty dirty and didn't work properly.
Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable.
Pros:
Very comfortable bed.
Nice area right off the highway.
I liked the porch.
The owner/manager was very nice.
The property had a nice vibe and a lot of potential. It just needs some TLC.
After booking for 2 adults and one chile 11 years old, the owner tried to extort another $25 on arrival claiming that the "child" was only up to 4 years old. I showed him my booking and he eventually relented.
Really difficult to check in staff is very unfriendly very unwelcoming. Staff made the stay extremely uncomfortable buildings are in terrible condition zero amenities. Do not stay here it is unclean unfriendly awful and clearly on its last legs probably due to these issues.
Read the small print, 3hr check in window. Wouldn’t let us check in early or later and we needed up missing the time. No refund, no apologies, just to leave the property.
The manager was beyond creepy. After he took us to our room he ‘changed his mind’ and said we couldn't stay!! He decided we needed the new California Real ID cards after we got to our room and told us to leave!
It was scary and creepy all the way around.

Unfortunately we have to give a bad review of the place, it is not very clean, no AC and the temperature of the place was 100 F.
Filthy. I did not even want to use the shower. Dust everywhere cobwebs, dirt, stains on walls and sheets. The manager kept touching me. He would walk up and just walk inside to talk to me. Without knocking. Was peaking through the windows. Communication issue. Could not get a refund. They refused to give me one. They get that a lot.

Property and grounds were not maintained. Beds line's not fresh. odor in rooms. no ac or a fan. poor lighting. no light over sink. Overall not so good, and definitely not recommended.
Very out dated and ugly interior/exterior. Paid extra for the jacuzzi, and the drain plug didn’t fit, so water leaked out constantly. No laundry service. The itsy bitsy sliver of soap was laughable, definitely the cheapest he could possibly find. Refrigerator/freezer was not turned on, which ruined my ice cream, and didn’t chill my drinks until the next morning. Owner said that he’d give me a better deal if I paid him cash. He charged my friend $40 to check-in early, even though the room was ready. So many better places to stay in that amazing little town. Do not book here unless you’re ok with all of the above.

IT WAS PERFECT! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! CLEAN AND QUIET! Read this review! Get the real one! On-Site Manager is VERY NICE! Water was hot! Cable TV was good. WIFI was in and out BECAUSE IT'S UP HIGH IN THE MOUNTAINS BUT I AM OK WITH THAT. The scenery was soooo beautiful! IT'S WORTH THE STAY, TRUST ME! I made a whole YouTube video about my experience, I loved it! It was a perfect getaway from the city, I would suggest Inspiration Point, Blue Ridge Trail to the campgrounds near Mountain High Ski Resort. I camped out overnight in my car after my check out at Table Mountains Camp Grounds not too far away. The City of Wrightwood is AWESOME LITTLE TOWN, VERY NICE PEOPLE! There is a nice little Cafe I went to that has really good food and the auto Mechanic Victor and Receptionist Brandi were so helpful to fix my car ON THE SPOT! I got home safe, make sure you have an SUV or TRUCK for travel purposes in the mountains! My Toyota Camry was a little rigid after the trip, I had to get another car when I got back to Los Angeles. I will be back!!! IGNORE BAD REVIEWS, dont miss the opportunity!

Very nice little cabin, Edward very friendly, helpful. Location is good.
Be aware "full kitchen" is empty, reportedly not allowed to put dishes etc in. Very nice stay. Town is great.
