Birthday get a way
Great location to get away from the busy life. Amazing view you feel like your in the coulds just as the name says. Peaceful time watching the birds and chipmunk play.

Christmas 2023
Three of us stayed here for Christmas and New Years. Our goals were to get as much hiking in as possible and this place is right in the middle of all the great trails. It's maybe 10 minutes to stores and laundry. Plenty of room for relaxing and WHAT A VIEW! The kitchen is supplied with enough pots/pans/knives for us to make our Christmas Eve gumbo. Great communication and even recommendations for good hiking. Easy check in check out. Don't miss the history of the area described in the cabin. Highly recommend this property.

A Great Birthday Celebration
Property was well maintained inside and out. The inside of the cabin felt like home: A cozy living and kitchen area great for entertaining. The upstairs deck provided wonderful views of the sky and town below. The bedroom had a great bed for a good night’s rest with jacuzzi and sitting area for a warm fire. Conveniently located to the areas attractions, this cabin is a win for sure.

Property had awesome view. Maybe thought property was off road more as traffic and other rental cabins nearby. Nice cabin however had to go down stairs to go to bathroom as main level had entertainment with TV kitchen etc.

this was the perfect cabin for our short get away trip. the view was incredible, the drive to downtown was easy, and the hot tub was great. the place was very clean and the owners were great! they helped to reroute us when there was a wreck on the main road and gave a short but thorough run down of the place after arrival. they were easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. but did not bother or bug in anyway. will definitely be back!

Let me tell you, if you want somewhere to stay vlose to chattanooga and want a view! This OS THE PLACE! We woke every single day to the best veiw in the world. I dont care what other property you think you have found. Book this one. YOU WILL NPT REGRET!. This is an amazing place to stay and the owners are amazing and give the best tips about the area. I will stay here EVERY TRIP i make to chattanooga going foward. The veiw and oh my god. The most comfortable bed i HAVE EVER SLEPT IN!. Again. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, pick this amazing place.

A Touch of Heaven
The view from the cabin is like seeing into the heavens. The view will leave you speechless and fill you with a quiet peace. The cabin is perfect and will make you feel very safe and comfortable, as if you were in your own home. The cabin has so much charm, you instantly feel relaxed. Captain Wyn and Captain Kerry are amazing people! They are very passionate about their cabin (they hand built it) and are even more passionate about making sure your time spent at their cabin is unforgettable!

Friday and Saturday night was rainy and foggy but made for perfect nights in the hot tub. The views are unbelievable and I could set there all morning with my coffee. Will definitely be going back. Captain Kerry was great to talk with on the phone and very informative.

Always wonderful- our 3rd stay!
We love this little cabin. It’s perfect for two people. This was our 3rd stay- 36th anniversary! Very quiet, private, clean, relaxing hot tub, awesome view, and reasonably priced. If you forget something, there is a Dollar General Market and a BP gas station at the bottom of the mountain. We finally ate at River Drifters, located just 8 miles from the cabin on the TN River. Great food and service! If you want something a little fancy/pricey, try “Top of the Rock” in Jasper Highlands. Fantastic view. We plan to return for another stay at the cabin in 2024!

Great Unwinding Location
After celebrating our oldest daughter's wedding in Orlando, we opted to stay at this cabin enroute home to Missouri. The two days there was relaxing, peaceful and allowed us to unwind. Beautiful view, great hot tub and love the cabin too!

Beautiful view-worth the drive
This small cabin was just right for the two of us. Had everything we needed. Kerry was quick to answer any questions we had. Check in was very easy. Sunset from the hot tub each night was the perfect ending to our busy days of hiking and being tourists! I was concerned about the drive to the cabin since it is so high up but the roads were great! The views are amazing and the location is good for attractions like Ruby falls and Rock City. Also cabin location is quiet and peaceful but not too far to a grocery store if needed!

Way Better Than Expected
My husband and I visited for our 10 year anniversary and the cozy cabin had everything we needed to cook delicious meals and relax together. The view made me speechless. The sunset view was magic. The host was so very helpful with the check in process. The space was clean and the area was great. Theres only one cabin nearby and it had guests while we were there. We could occasionally hear them but this cabin is still very private. I'm so happy we stayed here and we will definitely be back!

Great cabin!

A Great place to Unwind
The cabin overall was perfect, including the driveway. Sometimes cabins in the mountains are on a steep incline that require 4 Wheel Drive to get up to, this one has a flat driveway and is located 30 minutes from everywhere. Beautiful views on the way up and in the cabin. They had everything for those nights you want to cook, with pots/pans. The kitchen is small but mighty! The hot tub worked well. And overall the cabin is well maintained! A lot of cabins I been too, you can tell the owners dont care. They just VRBO it until the house isnt profitable and sell it as a fixer-upper. The one deduction i gave is the check in process. You will need to call in advance, versus most VRBOs provide a written instructions. But it worked just as well. And we could ask questions. The Captains are super friendly, and were more than helpful after i goofed not realizing i needed to call. They were quick to respond! Highly recommend!!

i'm a little reluctant to leave a review because i don't want this place to get so popular that we can't rent it again! 😄 back in february, when my husband and i started talking about what we wanted to do for our 10th anniversary, he said he wanted to go to the mountains. after deciding on our criteria, i started looking on all the websites and apps. we got to this listing and we were hooked. but we were a little nervous because too many times, the photos of places are way off from reality. Y'ALL. this place was better than we had hoped for. beautiful property, beautiful cabin, and views you could only dream of. the captain brothers were so great to deal with and they lived up to their words. so peaceful and dreamy. and the cabin has pretty much everything you could possibly need for a getaway. the ONLY issue had absolutely nothing to do with the cabin or its owners. driving up the mountain in the pitch dark through the fog was nerve-wracking for someone who's never had that experience. but we learned and adjusted our comings and goings appropriately. lol i can't imagine anyone giving this place less than 5 stars. i don't know when, but we will definitely be back. my husband and i agree that it was, hands down, the best vacation either of us have ever been on and it had 100% everything to do with this cabin and the entire experience.

Awesome couples cabin. Spectacular views
Great couples cabin. Quiet and peaceful. The owner Capt. Wyn is friendly and helpful. His brother, Capt. Kerry, who manages the property treats you like you have known each other for years. Jot tub is great. Lots of animals to watch. Amazing sunsets. I can see this place being a yearly anniversary trip. Clean and comfortable. Small and Cozy. Close to Chattooga but away from the noise and hustle. Can't say enough good things about this entire experience.

This cabin is located at the top of the mtn. & has an amazing view across the town of Whitwell & the Sequatchie Valley to the next mtn. Beautiful sunsets can be observed from the deck or the loving room. It's 15 minutes from Whitwell & about 25 minutes to Chattanooga. We spent quite a bit of time just driving the less traveled roads to view the country. There are fantastic by-ways with beautiful views. Take the time to go to Fall Creek Falls Park it's about an hour or so up the valley but we'll worth the trip. We were there the 1st week of May & everything was gorgeous!

A Week at Anna Maria Island
This location is quiet and peaceful. This unit is not a high end resort but a very cute and clean unit. The views from all windows are beautiful looking at the ocean and only 2 min walk to beach across the street. I'd prefer a king bed to a queen bed but that's because I'm 6'3" and 250 lbs. It was a comfortable bed though! Nice place and very clean.

Cabin in the clouds— very accurate!
A great choice to stay if you want to get away from it all. I would highly recommend this cabin. My husband and I wanted to get away from our stressful jobs, and this fit the bill!! The property manager was very helpful and available if we had questions. They seemed to anticipate our every need in advance and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thanks Captain Kerry for making our anniversary a very wonderful memory. An added note. You are not isolated if you want to come down off the mountain. Chattanooga is a short ride away with many things to do

The cabin was an absolute dream! Very clean and comfortable. All the simple kitchen utensils that one would need all provided along with coffee and all the requirements for it. The detail and love that was put into decorating the cabin was beautiful and very thoughtful. The spiral staircase was a beautiful touch and was very sturdy (as I am always hesitant with staircases) the hot tub was very nice and relaxing after a busy day. The bed was so comfortable. This cabin is the perfect getaway close to many trails or other attractions you may be interested in. The view is breathtaking and always changing with the time of day! We will be renting again very soon!
