Relaxing Gulf Getaway
My newly retired husband and I and our little blind dog stayed in this little gem for 3 weeks in February. Upon arrival we found the place in perfect condition, with fresh flowers and some treats to enjoy. The hosts were wonderful and quickly came to replace the gas tank on the BBQ (which we made quite a bit of use of) when it was running low. We had made some comment about the TV in the living room, and they quickly updated that too! Very generous and friendly hosts that were serious about wanting you to have a good holiday stay. We found the house very comfortable and the neighborhood relatively quiet - despite being so close to the main route through town. Stores and restaurants were a either a short walk or drive away. We drove down to the beach to park a walk the lovely path by the water on a daily basis. The Ground Zero Museum is worth some time - the resiliency of the people in the area shows up in their passion for where they live. We loved the Waveland-Bay St Louis area!
