"The place is lovely, the tents, the fireplace, the main lodge, everything is curated to the finest detail. Fantastic experience next to Acadia National Park. The staff was very helpful as well. The mattresses weren’t the most comfortable since you can feel the rods used to warm them up in winter. Must be very practical in winter, when a heated mattress is a great feature, but it made it pretty uncomfortable for us. Breakfast is simple but nice and complete, and it includes gluten-free options. I’d add that since the tent walls are thin, and ours was located right next to the main lodge and a shared fire pit, it was quite loud and noisy, especially during the evening, which broke the magic of the tent experience in such a beautiful place. I guess we were unlucky with our tent’s location, but when you’re paying that much money, you pay attention to these type of things… Overall, it is a beautiful place and I would recommend staying here."

"You can't beat the location for this price. It's about a 5 minute walk in to town. Parking in Bar Harbor is a nightmare so you will be happy you don't have to worry about that. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the shower water pressure is VERY strong. Coffee was always ready at the front desk, they have everything you need for it, including trays to carry up to 5 cups at a time. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but it is functional, clean, and great location. Highly recommend."
