"Beautiful location"

"The pros of this property are the location (on Mt. Desert Island), nice layout and decor, nice and clean, capacity for a lot of people, comfy beds, good laundry facilities, and decent knives for cooking. Fridge and stove vg. The cons were road noise at night and early morning from being on a busy road for some of the beds upstairs (not the bedrooms on the side of the house away from the road - road noise could not be heard there), almost all of the pots and pans are badly scratched non-stick and therefore unusable but 2 frypans and lobster pot were fine. No potato masher."

"The house was exactly as the pictures show. Our extended family of 12 had plenty of room and loved the arcade room as well as the movie room. The host is very attentive and responds quickly to any questions. We will definitely be back again."

"Outstanding location! Robard was easy to communicate with, and the property was squeaky clean. Perfect location to check out Acadia national Park. Very enjoyable to drink coffee and look out at the wildlife. Eagles, sea gulls, otters and ducks! Fantastic place and we will be back! "

"The entry steps were not shoveled- only someone’s previous tracks were there to follow through the foot of snow. The heat downstairs was not sufficient- the main areas of the house were not able to be enjoyed as the temperature remained at about 60 degrees (f) the whole stay. Thank goodness we had good heat upstairs in the bedrooms. Host never responded to VRBO contact or the cell phone number that was given. There were no checkout instructions provided in the house or online by the host, so we did what we thought was best."

"Peter's Acadia cottage is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. A short scenic drive to anywhere on the island. I would recommend staying here if you are looking into spending time at Acadia but want your own little oasis Peter is a great host and so accommodating! 10/10!!"

"Absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin in Mt. Desert, which served as our home base for many Acadia adventures. Perfect location, views and vibes. Ended every day with a dip in the oversized hot tub overlooking the lake. If you’re in the area, I can’t imagine a more perfect location! And as a bonus, the hosts were beyond kind in returning multiple items we left behind. No hassle whatsoever. "

"This is a perfectly cozy romantic spot in Acadia NP. Enjoyed our stay so much! Acadia is a very busy place and it is so nice to end the day in peace and quiet surrounded by the exceptional views out every room! All the amenities necessary. Host had great suggestions for hikes that were away from all the crowds. Would stay stay again in a heartbeat."
