The breakfast they serve is delicious! They were so kind to box up our breakfast for us because we had reservations to go out on a lobster boat tour! The bed and breakfast was in walking distance to everything in bar harbor and spotless. However the property itself is not well maintained. Carpet is pretty gross and covered in stains, wood needs maintenance and towels were stained yellow. For the upwards cost of $500 we were not impressed by the condition of the Inn. Literally everything was phenomenal. Absolutely wonderful service, and they even accommodated my food allergies/sensitivities. From the delicious breakfasts to the lovely evening flavored lemonades and baked goodies, everything was so thoughtful, lovely, and delicious. We thank you all for your wonderful hospitality! We had a wonderful stay at the Hearthside Inn! The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the customer service was excellent — the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed. Parking was a bit of a walk, but they were very helpful in assisting us and offering good options. Breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was just what we needed to start the day. Highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting the area!
