"It was a beautiful location, loved the owner, her dog the views and the place. Unfortunately for my husband and I we had to leave early for a medical emergency for me so we missed out on some more beautiful time there and surrounding areas. But we want to plan a future trip back when my health allows it. Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed.The Mays"

"The cottage was quiet and perfectly located for the adventures we had planned to all of the ANPs plus other Maine coast sites. We had everything we needed and more. We fell in love with the small town and the Schoodic peninsula ended up being our favorite area. The views here are absolutely spectacular. We spent our last day just enjoying this property. We loved this place and would definitely stay here again."

"We had a wonderful time at this truly stunning property. The cabin was the perfect size for us. The views were sublime on this very quiet lake. We had a blast kayaking, swimming and fishing. The area is very private and easy to get to. Last year we stayed down the road a bit at Donnell’s Pond, but we fell in love with Tunk Lake. Lots of great food in the area, and the shuttle bus for Acadia and Bar Harbor isn’t too far away. We highly recommend staying here. We certainly plan on coming back!"
Sorrento Post & Beam Retreat w/ Deck & Fire Pit

"We are a family of 5, with 3 teens. This house was a great space for us. It had separation for us to spend time apart and good space for us to be together. A few notes.Some reviews complained about the house being close to the road. This wasn't an issue for us. There are bushes separating the house from the road, and the road just isn't busy. The basement has the only TV, which was great, and it had a pool table. The basement was a bit cramped for a pool table but we made it work. The pool cues need replaced, most are either broken or need new tips. Also the plastic darts for the dart board have bent tips and need replaced. All these are minor issues that we worked with.The distance from Acadia was perfect for us. We don't mind 45 minutes on the road. The house does not have AC, but our week was mild temps, so it was beautiful. The house does have some quirks. The light switches are super confusing in some places. I don't think we ever figured out how to turn some lights or fans on. The host was great! We didn't have any fluid to start the charcoal grill, and she brought some over. There are restaurants and grocers nearby, so it's not in the middle of nowhere. All in all, this was a great stay. Highly recommend!"

"Very nice view. Owners very responsive to a couple of issues that came up. Note if you're renting kayaks - Tidal water with 14 foot change from low to high tide. Fun for kids to play at low tide, but you'll need to store kayaks very high at high tide."

"Overall nice home, clean. The water access was dried up and unlike photos. Property is right next to main road so it was loud. We didn’t spend much time there but it was nice for a place to sleep, make food, and not too far from restaurants, stores."
