The house was clean and comfortable, felt roomy even for our large group, and was equipped with everything we needed - stocked kitchen, excellent laundry, games and puzzles, kayaks w/ PFDs, a grill, comfortable beds, large closets, lots of hooks for hanging things, a fabulous screened porch, and much else I'm forgetting to mention. Tunk Lake is a treasure. Great hiking nearby, and we also made several trips to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The owner provided great information prior to our trip and was helpful after arrival as well. The lake is perfect for swimming and kayaking - some of the most pleasant water ever.
