"Not fancy by any means but if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay, this might be your spot. Close to restaurants, shopping and on the road to Bar Harbor. I would recommend checking out the downtown Ellsworth area as this New England City, while busy with vacation traffic, has a lot to offer and this property makes it an affordable."

"The room and hotel generally were great. Two main issues. 1. There is no elevator and consequently carrying heavy bags for a 76 year old was extremely hard work. I wouldn’t be so surprised if an elderly guest had a heart attack. The hotel should make it clear when booking and try and allocate ground floor rooms to the elderly guests. 2.. The road at the front of the hotel is very busy and noisy with trucks. Ask for a room at the rear if you you enjoy peace and quiet."

"This is an excellent location. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast well stocked and they had so many extras like cookies and coffees and ice cream. The room was clean and comfortable. My only annoyance was the main floor rooms are next to the parking lot and people congregated outside chitchatting loudly late at night. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again."

"The staff went out of their way to help us. We are elderly sisters and they gave us a room one the first floor and even helped us figure out how to run the television. Sometimes I miss the get up and change the channel days!!"

"The pictures for this unit show a bathtub in the bathroom. However, there's also a beautiful separate shower that wasn't pictured. This unit also has a dorm-sized refrigerator, a dorm-sized freezer, a single electric cooktop, and a microwave that I don't think were listed on the site. It's a beautiful unit in a great location. We used it as a hub for Acadia National Park. The drive from here wasn't bad at all. Would stay here again."
