"Beautiful property with free parking. Staff was very helpful. Liked that they had a grab and go breakfast for guests. Rooms were very comfortable and large. Mattress was very comfortable. Didn’t like original pillows and they were accommodating to change out pillows and make sure we liked the ones they brought to us."

"This location apparently can also be an extended stay I'm assuming. This isn't made clear in the listing. The only reason this is important is because they don't provide maid service, which in and of itself isn't a big deal. Where it became a problem is we had a unit with a full kitchen, thus we produced some trash that needed to be taken out. First, there was only a small trashcan I the bathroom as you would expect, however there is no other trashcan anywhere in the unit. Being it has a full kitchen I would expect a full trashcan to take care of trash. We also ended up taking our trash to the dumpster ourselves several times to prevent it from building up. We used the paper bags we got from our Walmart order as trash bags. I would have also liked another mirror outside the bathroom. Our room slept 4 people so it would have been nice to have a second mirror to be able to be used while someone else was still getting ready in the bathroom. This is however, just a personal preference. Lastly, twice my husband had to ask for the lobby music to be changed. The first time was a song that repeatedly used the F word. The second was a song that used the Lord's name in vain. Both times the staff easily obliged. The first time they switched the music, second time they turned it off. This was disappointing to have to do at what should be a family establishment. The place was beautiful and clean. We especially loved the local coffee always on hand, the fire in the common area."

"Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property. Pros: beautiful, clean room with a view. The pool and sauna were good and relaxing. We enjoyed the piano bar and the short nature path and deck. Cons; The part we stayed in had a nice view, but the balcony was not usable due to noise of traffic below. Also, the bed was a bit too soft for my preference. Otherwise a great deal and lovely stay."

"I will start with saying I have no idea about the other commenters complaining about the view. We had a beautiful view toward Acadia and Cadillac Mountain. Sure the owner's home is in the sight line but it in no way obscures anything and expecting a property to be built with unobscured views seems pretty selfish given most Vrbo listings are private property that they are renting out.The mini-split right above the bed does blow right on your heads when sleeping and takes some getting used to. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low and made for some challenges when rinsing toothbrushes etc. The parking is tight and we had some other folks around during the week and we had to be very careful to use every inch of space to allow each other room. The map the owner provided shows seven cabins and we only had 3-4 occupied while there and we found things challenging for parking so be aware of that. We had a sunrise pass for Cadillac Mountain and emerged to find a vehicle next to ours at 4 AM that was not there the night before and they could have easily boxed us in and we'd have had a major problem. There were places near the road we could have left our car but it can be an issue. Host was friendly. The cabins are all on top of each other and pretty packed. We had no issues with noise but not sure how that would work during warmer times when we might be outside or have had deck door open or something."

"The studio interior was very nice and just as described. The firepit area and outdoor shower were great amenities, but the hot water did run out on one night when all 3 of us took showers. The kitchen area was more well appointed than we expected. The property as a whole is very peaceful and you can see the stars incredibly well.There were a few shortcomings not mentioned in the listing which prevented us from giving 5 stars. For one, the parking situation is extremely tight and our car got blocked in at certain times. It seemed like more land could be cleared to open up additional parking spots when 4-5 cars are being parked at once on the property (and we only had one car for our group). On the last night, we had to leave very early so parked across the road to ensure we would not be blocked in.Also, there is no sound insulation between the first floor and 2nd floor and there is a bedroom and workshop on the first floor of the barn. This was not mentioned until we were about to check in. We were woken up some mornings by noise on the first floor."
