We had an exceptional experience! So serene, so relaxing. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel. Our private bath was already drawn for us when we checked in and it was the perfect temperature! The staff are all so kind hearted and helpful. The food was divine and the drinks are delicious. We did not want to leave! It was such a wonderful and relaxing stay

This hot springs hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms and hot springs baths were extremely clean. The staff were more than accommodating and took the time to know each guest and to learn their preferences. The hot springs were so relaxing, I don't think I've ever had a more enjoyable vacation than this. The food was also to die for! Just a heads up though, for those who book the private hot springs, there is a hot springs tax in addition to what you pay for the hotel which comes to 150 yen...

For anyone that doesn't know the whole Arima area is full of tourist attractions and tons of places to go sight seeing. This is one of the places that happened to be more affordable for me. The service was excellent and so was the food, there's nothing bad I can say about this place, they even offer transportation to nearby areas including shuttle bus service.

Such a stunning hotel. I wanted my daughter to experience a more traditional Japanese stay in Kyoto for one night. We came here because of the private onsen options since I have tattoos. This place was such a pleasure to stay at. I loved the breakfast spread as it was very traditional Japanese. My daughter found it a but more difficult to eat as some of the food was not completely to her taste, but I absolutely loved it (I’m half Japanese and raised in Japan, so it was delicious for me). Thank...

Clean room, nice staff. Good food. It would be the best if USB port is available. Thank you for the good service of your staff.

Fantastic property. The description of the property is accurate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating… they waited for us to check-in very late even though we were outside the check-in hours. The onsen experience was fantastic. Our boys ages 19, 16 and 13 originally said they wouldn’t use the onsen, but after they tried it once, they went each day. Some reviews complained about the area being remote, we didn’t find the distance to transit to be an issue at all. It was a quiet...

Wonderful stay and a great hotel. Private “Golden Onsen” in room was fantastic, beautiful view of the mountains and town from the bath. If you want to experience a traditional Japanese hotel I 100% recommend.

The service, room, and dinner and breakfast were all first class. It’s a 10 experience. The lobby coffee machine could be changed to Nespresso. Couldn’t work it.

Upstairs hand rail is too small.

Clean room

It is so big Such a nice and traditional ryoukan Linked with 太閣のゆうis such a big bonus point. But let's say if I want less crowded, the hotel offer their own onsen for their guest at the basement floor.
