Enjoyed the onsens so much here. The restaurant service was great, food was great and the staff were so friendly with our little boy.(thank you for your patience and smile!) The Japanese style room was cozy and not humid at all. We were lucky that it snowed a few times during our stay. Waking up to a beautiful snowing view outside the window was amazing. Shuttles to station and ropeway, but some steep hills to get here and around town to other baths. Many different types of onsen as well. Love the experience. Will come back for sure. The only thing you have to watch out for is. Take the shuttle bus and try not to walk up the really steep hill to the hotel. It is definitely some cardio exercise. The spa and public baths are very popular for day time visitor so I recommend to make reservation ahead of time, if you want spa menu. Dinner was wonderful full course Japanese Kaiseki.
