"Unfriendly staff, seemed like an annoyance that I was checking in. Bedding and towels old and ragged, looked clean at least. Sink plugged..wouldn’t drain in the morning. Need to be short to take a shower. Dirty walls noticed after being there. "

"I almost don't want to post a review, because I want to keep this gem a secret! Yet, I would be remiss if I didn't say that this was hands down one of the best VRBO values I've stayed at, and we stay a lot of places! The place was clean, in great shape, and had all the amenities we could need. The host was fantastic to communicate with and extremely accommodating. If I had any suggestions for improvement at all it would be to consider getting a new mattress vs. just topper for the king bed as that would improve the sleep experience. But that's it! We plan to rent again when in the area! Joshua Tree is a magical place, and having this home to come back to after a day of exploring was just phenomenal."

"The room is colorful, spacious and clean. It’s our second time staying here and that’s our go to spot when we come to Joshua tree. It’s cheap, but doesn’t feel like a motel, which I typically do not like motels at all. This feels more like cabins. The gentleman at the front is very nice and helpful. Parking is right in front of the room so that’s great too. The bed was comfy, the only two things I would suggest is switching the curtains to blackout curtains, as it gets super bright very early in the morning, and a second trash can for the bathroom would be nice in addition to the one in the room. It’s also super close to the 29 palms entrance of the park which also has shorter lines than the west entrance, and it’s so close to the restaurants and shops. We love eating at the Kitchen in the desert restaurant a few minutes away, busy but delicious! Will definitely continue staying here when I come back."

"All went well at Viewhouse. We enjoyed the proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen has spices, oil and such for cooking which was appreciated. Beds are memory foam. Kids loved the swinging chairs and record player. Would stay here again. "

"This modern build home was a sweet escape from LA. It was super clean and beautifully decorated to make us feel relaxed and comfortable. Joshua tree national park entrance and tortoise rock casino were nearby for outdoor adventures and social activities. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was great. Absolutely loved our time at this spot. "
