We went into the park to see a sunset, but we probably would have been best suited just staying at the house - saw some great sunrises and sunsets. The house was very clean and nicely laid out. The house is very close to the north entrance. We enjoyed the large space especially the two patios. The front porch has a lovely view of the city at night. In addition to the convenience, we enjoyed the amenities, particularly the 80’s arcade system and the mini Super Nintendo. My 6-year-old got excited to watch my wife and I go head-to-head on the games of our youth, like Super Mario Kart and Street Fighter II. We also appreciated the listing being pet-friendly. The one heads up I would give is that the house does not have central heating, instead relying on a couple space heaters and a pellet stove (which was easy to operate, and stocked with plenty of pellets between the main bucket and an extra economy-sized bag in the garage). We stayed during the winter (December 2024), and found it a bit chilly at night, so pack accordingly. Overall, we had a great stay and would be interested in returning for future trips to JT. ##### Matthew M. It was in close proximity to Joshua Tree National Park, which was our main destination. Each room was beautifully designed and immaculate. The beds were incredibly comfortable! I found this gem within minutes of the park. The home is perfect for 2 people and exactly as the pictures and description portray. Close to restaurants and a good Stader Bros grocery since we mainly cook dinners.
