This establishment is incredibly outdated, resembling a motel straight out of a Tarantino film. The room emits a foul odor that permeates the air, making it unpleasant to stay in. The bed blankets are in poor condition, with cigarette burns littering their surface. Additionally, the lobby is consistently locked, necessitating guests to ring a doorbell for entry. Overall, the atmosphere is unwelcoming and unsafe from the moment you arrive. It's strongly advised to avoid booking a stay here altogether. Furthermore, considering the subpar conditions, seeking a refund from Expedia for listing such a place is entirely reasonable. This establishment is a definite no-go for any traveler. My room was smoking room we booked by mistake. But according to our experience room that we booked is very dirty and smell doesnt go off. You need to pick room carefully. Receptionist was good.

Price was good so I stayed there while working on the house a few times. The manager or whatever that's person was nasty. I just had a bite my tongue the place was dirty had bed bugs a the one that wouldn't really lock up and a lot of people outside.

When on arrival no one was inside to check me in had to wait a half an hour the employee checking me in was rude questioning why I’m there the rooms were still dirty like other guests had just left and they didn’t clean up yet the room had empty soda bottles cigarette buds etc

For one, could not understand the man at the front. Which I don’t mind but the minute you walk in to the room, you’d wish you never booked the room. He told me I could not lock my room door from the inside cause then I couldn’t get Out. 2 out of the 6 drawers didn’t have a face. As soon as I turned on the A/C unit, it made the most horrible noise which I thought couldn’t be beat, until I turned on the fan in the bathroom ceiling.. omfg. Bed was springy, which I thought went out in the 80’s when foam came out. How wrong i was. I thought a $56 room rate would alleviate the pain of the stale stench the room had and the bed covers, but I will gladly pay $100 for my next room deal through Expedia if I can atleast get a decent sound sleep experience…

I have never had such a negative experience with a hotel. I checked in for 2 nights on a Friday, as I had planned to do a trail race in nearby Harriman State Park. Less than 30 minutes after check in I was informed that the race had been cancelled due to flooding, so I didn't need my room anymore. When I returned to the hotel, the manager did not want to hear about my situation, and told me that he was charging me for 2 nights, even though I didn't stay at all. I chose this hotel because of its location, but I would never stay here.

I needed a place in Stony Point, NY for a few nights before getting picked up for my new job about an hour away. I had no choice. Listen, I am not here to badmouth places. The air conditioner had no remote and you would have to be 7 feet tall to reach it. There was a microwave and a mini fridge, which were both clean. I was afraid of the bed, based on the overall appearance of everything else in the room. There was a 24 hour gas/convenience store across the street, plus many food options within walking distance. So, that was helpful. I was here in the peak fall season, so I didn't have many hotel options. I will leave it at that.

Stony Point NY Inn
We got a smoking room, after spraying it down with disinfectant and spraying perfume we were able to sleep somewhat. The mattress was a spring mattress and was not comfortable at all. The door seemed as it would break with a really good kick. The front desk and the surprisingly clean room and bathroom is the best part of the entire experience. Oh the price was ok also.

Disgusting. Didn't want to sleep on the dirty mattress but had no choice. Itching all night. Afraid of bed bugs. No chairs to sit on in or outside of the motel. Carpet was very dirty. Shower curtain was very dirty. Dust and cobwebs all over. Hoping I'm not sick from staying in this room. Not stayable in my eyes. Unpleasant conditions.

All Broken furniture. Bed nailed to a wall so there was no plug at all by the bed. Was refused extension by the rude proprietor. Was charged 10 dollars MORE for a smoking room iI did not want. I wouldn’t use the place to board a pet Just awful

Old, non-useful vanity, towel racks. Tiny bathroom just doesn’t have any space to set down your toiletries. Dingy. Loud AC. Every night and morning we were greeted by a neighbor smoking pot right next to the room. The bed was uncomfortable, dirty under the mattress cover, and quite possibly had bed bugs. Awful place, would not recommend. Room did NOT look like the picture at all, no lampshades, side tables. Dresser wasn’t functioning. Property manager did not want to be disturbed, it was obvious. If they wanted to be helpful there wouldn’t be so many issues with the room. Simple stuff like a shower curtain that keeps the water in the shower, etc.
