We love this hotel and we tend to go every year for skiing. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is always pleasant. We love the location of this hotel. Very convinient, parking, walking around and it is centraly located. The hotel's restaurant (Dancing Bear) is also very pleasant and fun to go to. One the the highlight of this hotel is the welcoming lobby. The fireplace, sparkling wine and comfortable chairs and sofas is always a great memory for us. On the down side this time we had problems with our rooms. No ventilation in the washroom, a broken lamp and no hot water. The lamp was fixed right away and the staff very curtious about it. The hot water issue persisted and we had to change room to resolve this issue. The no ventilation problem was the same in the second room. This hotel is a great place for a vacation and we are not discouraged by the little problems we encountered. Like I said, we stayed there many time and I am confident about my recommendation in this hotel!

This Hotel has parking onsite, and is conveniently located right in the village where you can walk to fine dining, coffee shops, activities and many shops. This hotel has a restaurant with a lively bar seen in the evening. The lobby offers plenty of space and comfy seating. The enviro ent is relaxed and welcoming. It’s really comforting to share the love for my pets with other patrons of the hotel. My pup enjoys the stay in this hotel as much as I do.

We booked our room thru expedia..we were looking for a place with all of the amenities that high peaks has to offer. Our only problem was, we were in the Waterfront collection and not in the actual building where all the Amenities are located. That was a bummer since we were looking forward to not leaving our building for anything.. About our room in the waterfront collection..it has an adjoining room with a locked door between yhem..the adjoining room was full of children that were loud from 530 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. til 9 p.m. .. So our get away looking for peace and quiet did not go as planned..also sliding glass doors made the room frigid .

This is a wonderful property. Perfect location, beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The people were friendly and welcoming. The undercover parking is great! We will definitely recommend this to our friends and when we return to Lake Placid we will stay here for sure!
