The communication from the owners was excellent and the keys were right where they said that they would be. There was a nice looking fireplace, but we could not take advantage of it as we did not bring anything to start a fire. But it is a nice amenity to have. A couple of improvements that we would suggest: Better outdoor lighting. What is there is adequate but could be improved. Maybe provide signage to let folks know where to park? We were there in dark, rainy conditions and had difficulty figuring out what they meant by "parking is across the way by the trees". Which trees? And 2 reading lamps by the beds would be nice. We didn't dream to check if it had air conditioning. I called the manager and he said there was usually a fan but that none were available. The room stifling. We left 10 minutes later. We have booked through Expedia many times and have never had this experience before.
