This recently renovated hotel is a gem, perfectly located near both Lake Placid (12 minutes) and Whiteface (5 minutes). The modern upgrades provide a comfortable and cozy stay, while the kind, attentive, and accessible manager (Keith) who goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome (including upgrading our room, helping us make reservations for dinner and offering rides). A fantastic choice for convenience and excellent service!

Keith and Amy were so warm and hospitable. The lodge was clean, renovated and convenient to Whiteface and Lake Placid. The breakfast spread was incredible! Keith shuttled us to and from the mountain whenever we needed. The personalized service and hospitality was truly special. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We felt so welcome!

This was probably the most welcome we have ever felt at a hotel or motel. The owners, Keith and Amy, were incredibly inviting and attentive (without being at all overbearing). When we arrived, they showed us to our room and then gave my wife a beautiful flower arrangement and chocolates because they had found out it was her birthday. The outside appearance of the Lodge is not impressive, but our room was spotless, fairly large, and tastefully appointed with high-end Adirondack-style furnishings. The bathroom was not large but the tile work was beautiful. The breakfast area was also clean, roomy, and nicely furnished. The breakfast buffet, which lasted until afternoon, was setup elegantly. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and will be back next year.

They are working on upgrading property. When we first pulled in we were surprised by all the work being done on the building. We were walked to our room by Keith who also showed us the grounds. The room was amazingly, very clean. Bed was comfortable Bathroom was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again
