"Booked this as it was a very reasonable price as I was going to Alton towers the next day. Arrived and was stunned by the building and the views. Checked in and the staff were lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Next day for up and had breakfast, a freshly cooked English breakfast with cereals and pastries included. Overall if I am ever in the area again I will be staying here."

"Such a friendly family owned business in a lovely little spot. Great for couples and families. The food was great from a buffet breakfast or a cooked option to a huge variety of dinner options. The bar is well stocked with a lovely fire place for those cold nights. Rooms a big, clean and nicely decorated. They are set away from the main pub, very quite with a nice playground for the kiddies."

"Excellent location and a beautiful historic building, just a little black mould in the shower in the bathroom that was a little off putting but otherwise fantastic."
