The stay was situated at a calm and quite, serene space. A bit dated but well worth the cost. Big bright room with a small bunk room which between them accommodated myself & 6 grandchildren between the ages of 10 & 14 whilst we had a couple of days at Alton Towers. We all loved the food and the portions were good. They were safe playing in the park outside the back of the restaurant. Lovely Countryside Stay with a Few Downsides I recently stayed at the Dog and Partridge Country Inn and really enjoyed the overall experience. The location is beautiful—surrounded by greenery, peaceful, and perfect for a countryside escape. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the whole place felt safe and quiet. The food was good, though a little on the pricey side. Still, it added to the nice atmosphere. There were just a couple of downsides for me. The bed was very uncomfortable, sinking in the middle, and I left with back pain. Also, if you’re bringing your dog, there’s a £20 charge per day, which felt a bit steep. Would I go back?
