Welcome to Seascape by IRIS PROPERTIES!

Seascape is a beautiful oceanfront vacation property located just 10 minute walk from downtown Sooke with many bakeries, shops, and natural attractions. Sooke is the gateway to the rugged west coast with incredible beaches, hiking, surfing, and so much more in the area.

Please take special note that the property is comprised of 5 different rental units spread across the property. Some of the units share walls so please be courteous of your neighbours.

Communal areas of the property include the private dock, beach access (on low tide), and the front grassy area and deck overlooking the ocean. Each of the units also has it's own private sitting and outdoor areas. There is also a shared/communal laundry facility on site to be used between the hours of 9 AM-7PM.

We rent to family groups, couples, and visitors from around the globe. We do not cater to any party groups whatsoever. This is a tranquil and quiet area, and we like to rent to groups looking to enjoy the peaceful environment offered in beautiful Sooke.

This oceanfront home is ideal for larger groups or families, sleeping up to 6 people in a comfortable layout. Enjoy waterfront views of the Sooke inlet. Walk out on the property's 200 ft private boardwalk and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean. Walking distance to Sooke village and all the amenities you need to make your vacation at the Seascape Retreat one to remember!

Very nice clean property. Modernized decor and very comfortable. Amenities were very close to the property. Quiet and relaxing. Only complaint was the sound from the hot tub jets going off all the time.

Nice property
The property was nice. There were just two drawbacks 1) the lights at the gate were never on so finding the entrance at night off a busy two lane highway was perilous and 2) the master bedroom was a a stairway best described as a ship's ladder but it only had one rail, not great from a safety standpoint.

Pros: Newer build, dock, on the water, spacious Cons: Jacuzzi was not functional, moldy smelling, and brown water. When promptly reported to the property manager, they claimed to have filed a work order. Sadly, said work order was not fulfilled during our stay so as-advertised jacuzzi was unusable. Suggest bringing your own towels, unless you prefer to do laundry each day. There are multiple units in the same building and multiple buildings on the same property. This includes shared laundry, although this unit was supposed to have private laundry. Kind of like a hostel. The key pad on the front door stopped working day 2 of our visit. We had to lock it from the inside then exit through another door. Expensive, not luxury but rather builders grade quality and care in a good location. For example, cheap blinds were broken in upper bedroom, coffee cups left outside, one of three bedrooms have a door (others have curtain), empty body soap in the shower, watered down hand soap in the kitchen, one laundry pod for shared laundry, wash cloth stuffed into vent in closet, 3 people came by asking us to rent a room. Seems like a corporate managed property, with minimal maintenance. We overpaid for just an OK place, and given the chance I wouldn't rent again. Had potential to be great, but not maintained.

Glorious location and charming, bright, spacious home.
Really well presented, light and airy with excellent appliances to make the stay a bit more special and easy going. Aside from some minor points about towel provision and very small aspects of damage, this property was excellent.

Great spot in Sooke!
Excellent place and central location in Sooke. Good layout for two couples and the main floor rooms were good to have for children. Great to have such a nice kitchen and access to the beautiful pier. Would definitely stay again.

Some suggestions
2 of the 2 bedrooms were good great beds, 3rd bedroom had an ancient stove/sink. Make that a closet. Kitchen space was great, cookware is horrendous. Non stick would be appreciated. Please provide OVEN MITS SAFETY HAZARD. provide more dish towels. Others have access to laundry room, no privacy and safety concerns.

Great Harbor Getaway
We really enjoyed Seascape. The property is very well maintained and clean. We stayed in the main house and it was newly renovated, clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the pier in the evening and watching seals, geese and bald eagles. Communication with the property management was excellent. There are other rentals on the property and you share parking and the yard/pier with them, but everyone was quiet and respectful while we were there. If there was one nitpicky thing, it would be that there is no A/C in the upstairs loft master bedroom. It was quite hot while we were in Sooke, around 90 degrees, so it was very stuffy up there even with the windows open. But that is probably very rare for Sooke. Providing a fan upstairs would help that. Otherwise it was a great property and great experience.

Beautiful property! Inside and out! Right on the bay! Second bedroom needs a door not a curtain.
