The location is great as it is near many restaurants and shops and it is a good starting off point for activities around Kauai. Communication was excellent and our overall experience was outstanding. "Property is as advertised. Host was accommodating. Watched surfers, kite surfers, and saw turtles right from the balcony. Beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice touch. Even though it’s on the first floor, it is completely private and secure. Couldn’t see anyone else on their lanais and no one comes back where the lanai is. Note, there are a few stairs to the unit. Not a problem for us, but could be important for someone else. Been to Kauai before and stayed in Princeville. Too congested and far from many things. In my opinion this condo is the perfect place to stay. Wailua is so quiet, easy access to beaches (which were mostly empty), and very close to shops and restaurants. Super convenient to the airport too. "
