Single Island Shores

10/10 Excellent

"The cabin had everything we needed. It was very clean and we loved the fire pit outside. The view of the lake was great. The amenities were great. The dock was relaxing, just staring at the beautiful lake. We would recommend this to our friends and family. Will definitely go back."

The Dorm Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great location with easy access to Cornell campus. Cornell-themed interior deco throughout. The comfort twin room offered great value and had plenty of amenities for a solo traveler like me: storage space, A/C, reliable wifi, private bathroom and sink. Shower booth has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Sink has hand soap and hand lotion. One small issue: depending on time of day, it may take a while for hot water to come out--in my case, it took anywhere from 15 seconds to 2 minutes while letting the shower run. But it eventually worked, and water pressure was good. Also, a caveat: no in-room fridge for my room class (comfort twin), but there is a shared mini fridge for guests in the common area where you need to put a name sticker on whatever you put in there. Space is very limited, so you'll be limited to a few small items you can squeeze in. No freezer. Room service seems request-based, but I never needed one because the room came with enough (3) bath towels for my entire stay. The room was generally clean, although not spotless. Hotel's common area has snacks for purchase and a self-pour bar. The bar taps ran about $.65 to $1.25 per oz. and could be a nice way to sample some local drinks. Free coffee in the morning beginning 8 AM-ish. There is a first-come, first-served parking area in the rear of the property. There are quite a few spots, but they seemed to fill up fast on Friday, so better not to assume availability if traveling during peak demand."

Cayuga Blu Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay - all staff that we interacted with could not have been more pleasant and friendly - and they were especially sweet and kind to our dog who was traveling with us. They made him feel like a VIP guest. Really enjoyed the breakfast offered as part of the stay - kind of incredibly how much food they put out. Just a great experience! Recommend!"

The Historic Gould Hotel Seneca Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel

8/10 Good

"Conveniently located in downtown area. The accommodations were basic and met our needs. Peeling paint on the pipe above the shower needs attention and the upper wall of the shower could have used a little more cleaning. The restaurant downstairs was closed during our stay. The staff person at the desk was nice."

Best Western Plus Vineyard Inn & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel room was HUGE. Bed was comfortable! Breakfast had many choices. Only odd thing one morning said breakfast potatoes. They were tatertots. Dont get me wrong, i love me some tots. Just thought it was odd hah Location is perfect, if you used it like I did. Hiking in the finger lakes region. I was 30-55 mins away from all the places I wanted to explore. Two complaints, and they are small. My room was next too, OR near motor room for the hot tub, in the pool. While the tub was in use, my room had a LOUD noise. Other one, they had a very nice outdoor seating area. Seem very nice, would have loved to use it. It was always filled with people smoking. If your property claims to be smoke free. I don't feel like quests should use common areas for smoking."
