Restaurant for breakfast and dinner, amenities and staff was excellent. Very clean including the pool area. Only issue was that the gym didn’t open until 9am.

The hotel is walking distance from the main train station (about 10 mins). It's a very safe area close to the river and in the middle of the best shopping in the city. Nestled between Fendi and Celine and overlooking Prada, Gucci, and Burberry...it's a shoppers dream. You can walk to everything from the hotel and there's amazing restaurants around. Hotel was clean, modern, and had all the little touches a 4 star hotel should have (but many don't). Staff spoke English and were extremely helpful...

Superb hotel with available, attentive staff. A beautiful common room with tea and coffee always available. A full European and English breakfast with enough to satisfy any appetite. The only negative is the night noise from the busy square nearby. If possible, request a room away from the square.

We were very impressed with Il Malaspina. It was a great location away from crowds. But very close to exceptional restaurants and the train station. The room was comfortable and spacious and the shower felt like a trip to the spa (I almost jumped in for a second shower one day). Breakfast offerings were also exceptional, and especially for those of us with dietary restrictions. The front desk was also very friendly and helpful. No question that I would rebook. This would be my go-to...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 night when were in Florence for our honeymoon. Hotel is about a 4-7 minute walk from the train station. We arrived on the night train from Venice and was greeted by the lovely gentleman working the night shift at the front door. The room was clean, a decent size for 3 people as well as a porch area on the second floor that was just for us. They offer a great selection of breakfast items and rooms are all stocked with complementary water where as other hotels...
