Even if you don’t need to park a car and drag your luggage from god-knows-where you will still have to contend with 90 steep, dangerous, slippery steps to ascend and descend from this place. And on the quiet end of the waterfront in Sausalito. Just fit two adults upstairs and one teen on the downstairs pull out. There are lots of stairs up, which was not a problem for us. Beautiful million dollar views of both the bay and Sausalito skyline from your private deck where you can enjoy morning coffee as the sun rises over the bay. A short walk away is Golden Gate Market, a convenient neighborhood market with friendly helpful staff and surprisingly well stocked with groceries and delicious prepared food packaged for take-a-way meals. The Italian restaurant Aurora is also within walking distance - fabulous food, friendly service and away from the crowds. I loved the location of this property as I felt more like a Sausalito local and less of a tourist but if it's the tourist's experience you desire it's just a scenic walk away down Bridgeway along the bay.
