San Diego Convention Center Tours and Activities

While the amenities online during the booking process make this property seem great, you realize upon arrival that the pictures from online are a bit deceiving. We traveled here with kids and the game room and pools were exciting until arrival. The game room was in pretty rough shape. Pool tables were dirty and the pool cues were broken, carpet was rolling up and the arcade consisted of 5-6 games max. Some of the pool lounge chairs were broken too. Once we checked in, our first room had a giant hole in the ceiling of the bathroom which we were told had just been “renovated”. Our second room felt like we were in a dungeon on the bottom floor. A lot of the cabinet doors didn’t close properly or were mounted crooked. Our shower had no shampoo, conditioner or body wash and when housekeeping was called we were told it could be a couple hours before they could get us some. All in all, we won’t be returning. Years ago we went to Welk for their time-share presentation. We decided not to invest into Welk and, after this stay, we believe we made the correct decision.

The only thing that I wish they had more of was Dinning spots on the property available.
