Great family gathering place

Excellent, large bedrooms, many bathrooms, very nice grounds. Grilled on charcoal grills and had campfires.

Spacious large home with beautiful grounds

Had a wonderful weekend together with ~18 family members. Gorgeous scenic veiw. Israel was a wonderful host. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. There were 12 women attending a Health and Wellness Retreat and the property was lovely and in a great location. Enough space for everyone and the house is wonderful. The property owner was very responsive when we had questions. It was a great time. Thank you

Amazing!

My stay at rock stream estate was amazing! There were 24 girls staying for a bachelorette party. The house was exactly as pictured, the backyard is gorgeous, and Israel was super friendly and helpful in recommendations before we even arrived. I couldn't recommend this house enough!!

Finger Lakes “Funcation”

Enjoyed 3 nights in a grand 1929 home with 7 other couples. Well-appointed with 3 working fireplaces and a hot tub! Plenty of dishware , glassware, and silverware to accommodate a large group! Plenty of space for games, puzzles or quiet conversations and reading. Kitchen and grill options abound…. Dining room fits at least 24!!! Owner easy to work with and responsive!

Girls trip

The house was perfect for our group of 19 people. The dining room table was awesome and perfect for all of us to sit down for dinner together. The house was clean and just as pictured in the listing. Israel left us a great fruit basket to enjoy during our stay, which was a nice touch. We had some trouble with the AC cooling the house upstairs so it did get warm. Israel was having someone take a look after our stay. Even with the AC not on full blast, we had a wonderful time and would stay again!

Wine Retreat w/ Family and Friends

If looking to host a large group in the Finger Lakes region, it'd be difficult to beat this charming property. The connected living, dining, and play rooms made for a great gathering area--we hosted dinner for our group of 15 adults each night. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for folks to have their privacy too. The house was clean throughout, and the kitchen came stocked with everything that we needed. Israel was responsive and helpful, even when we faced an issue with the water pressure--he had a crew there immediately to fix it on a weekend. It worked perfectly well afterwards and it should be fixed permanently now. Magnus Ridge Winery was our groups favorite stop of the weekend, and it's only a few minutes away. Highly recommend Rock Stream Estate for your next large gathering in the area!

One of a kind in the area

We rented this property for a family reunion. It easily slept 24. There are not too many properties in this region that can house this many people. Communications with the owner was great. The kitchen is well stocked although some of the cookware is aging. The location is great. Close enough to Watkins Glen and other attractions in the area. There is a huge yard that was a big hit with the kids. There are washing machines and dryers on-site. There is a functioning hot tub but we didn’t use it. It is well water but it’s not bad tasting. My guess is most properties in the area are well water. Overall everyone was happy with their stay.

Beautiful large estate

5 family trip and we had plenty of space in this awesome estate on a beautiful property! Kitchens are well stocked, there's tons of laundry... very easy place for the big group to function.

Perfect Venue for Family Reunions

The home is located in a rural area in close proximity to Seneca Lake and numerous (15+) wineries/breweries. The house itself is lovely, a throw back to the 1920's (I'm guessing on the age). The size of the kitchen- with double refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, etc. --- made it ideally suited for our Thanksgiving family reunion, and the venue can easily accommodate much larger dinner parties. Our family especially enjoyed the hot tub and playing games around the large dinning table; the venue provided the opportunity to relax, reacquaint, & create new memories- priceless! Another unique- and greatly appreciated--- feature of this property is the number of bedrooms with an associated private FULL bath. I will say that we experienced a few hiccups during our 4 day stay, but our host Israel was very responsive and went above and beyond to address each and every issue in a timely fashion, to my satisfaction.

Perfect for large groups & events

This was a perfect location to hold our wedding reception. There is so much space indoors and out. We had a large events tent, two canopies, lawn games, and parking in the rear, and we were still using only a fraction of the space! The field behind the property made a perfect backdrop for photos. There is a also a firepit with plenty of seating which made for a unique and fun end to the evening . The best part was that we were able to stay on the property along with our family and bridal party. We were a big group and were very comfortable here. There was a great balance of rooms with multiple beds to accommodate our young families, and more private rooms for couples. There was plenty of indoor & outdoor common space and seating. The massive dinning table and well equipped kitchen made meals super easy, and most importantly there were so many bathrooms!! We never had any issues with bathrooms during our stay or during our event. Thank you so much Israel for opening your home to us and going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable :)

Enjoyed our 4th of July weekend!

We stayed at this property during the 4th of July weekend. The property is amazing with beautiful view, a lovely backyard and 5-10 mins drive to multiple fun activities with family. There were a few minor issues with some of the rooms but the owner was very kind and helpful. He sent a handyman right away and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. All the rooms were nice and clean, amenities were functioning well. The kitchen and dining area is large to accommodate 5-6 families. All in all, our stay was amazing and we enjoyed the place a lot. We plan to go again soon. The owner is a great guy, very accommodating and though he operates remotely, he’s very quick in responding back and tries his best to make our holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good family time with extended friends and family.
