The hotel was perfect -I would not change a thing. Our Front desk host was very helpful checking us in yesterday and breakfast was great this morning. Location can’t be beat-we will stay here again if we ever get back this way !!

This old hotel is very finely placed in the centre of Old Quebec, almost adjacent to Frontenac and the funicular to reach the lower part of town. Rooms are recently refurbished, clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Bistro 1640 is attached to the hotel and provides excellent meals all day. Staff are most helpful, and need to be, as there are a set of stairs to reach the reception area. The surrounding area has a wide range of shops and restaurants.

Location is what originally drew me to the Auberge du Tresor; their wonderful property and people is what will bring me back! The front desk staff was exceptionally hospitable and helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. This historic property is extremely well maintained, probably due in large part to the outstanding work of the housekeeping staff. Bistro 1640, sitting just below the hotel, is a great bonus, too.

This place is soo perfect. Amazing location with great food very close. An excellent bar and restaurant attached and an abundance of choices within walking distance. We had a great time. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return.

The location was amazing, it is right in the middle of everything amazing in Quebec City. The room was clean and comfortable, beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful, friendly and responsive. I had a request before arriving, I messaged them, and received a helpful response quickly. We loved the hotel and would stay again.

Excellent location, close to everything. Building is old but we'll kept. Hair dryer didn't work, and no elevator to 3rd floor, but attendant did take up luggage. Plenty of taxi drivers alongside street.
