    I do not normally like staying in a B&B type of environment, but the Podere la Rondine is the epitome of comfort, old-world luxury and the friendliest hospitality I have experienced. The rooms are quite spacious and old-world luxurious chic. The entire facility has been renovated beyond perfection. It is like staying at home while away. We loved it. You have access to the entire guest house and it is so luxurious. Elisabetta makes the best scrambled eggs ever and the breakfast buffet is a great start to your day. The free parking is secure in the gated Podere grounds. The Podere la Rondine is within walking distance (less than 20 minutes) to the train station allowing easy access to the heart of Florence, Pistoia and Lucca. Or, continue strolling another 20 minutes through the Prato shops to the historic centre. We will stay at the Podere la Rondine on every occasion that we visit family in Prato.…
