The front door requires a card to get in, loved it. The staff was very friendly, Joshua was great help when I needed an extra plug. It had breakfast, but no variety. Very convenient to the train station

Rooms were clean....modern design unlike other older Tuscany hotels. Air conditioning good. Ok breakfast. Location close to train station and not far from attractions...everything with in 15 minute walk. Safe area. Staff not rude, just inattentive.

This was a great place to stay, especially if your planning, like we did, to take trips on the Train to other cities during the day!(for us, we went to Pisa one day & Venice another day) Staff was friendly, and breakfast was amazing with the rooftop views. Definitely would suggests this hotel, if your looking for easy access to the train system, and a nice walking distance to local attractions.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Aurum in Florence. Although it is advertised as a 4-star hotel, in my opinion it does not meet that standard at all. I would personally give it 1 star, mainly because of its convenient location and easy access to the main attractions. The staff were kind and friendly, and I have nothing negative to say about them. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a different story. The facilities were very basic, the overall condition did not feel like a 4-star property, and cleanliness was also disappointing. If the location is your main priority, it may still be convenient, but otherwise I would not consider this hotel to be at a true 4-star level.

The location was the biggest reason I chose this hotel; it's very close to the train station, making it convenient for a day trip to Siena and Pisa. All the viewpoints are within walking distance, so after lunch I could walk back to rest before continuing my sightseeing. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Was expecting more from this hotel. There’s a smell as soon as you enter. Real problem with mosquitoes in our room. We had to buy a plug-in. You only get a face cloth and large towel for showering. No hand towel. Not well maintained. Needs painting and fixtures broken in our room. 2 members of staff, didn’t acknowledge us coming in the door. Breakfast was exceptionally poor. Not a lot of choice and two of our three breakfasts there was no hot food available. The trays were empty. It is however in a great location for the train station and tourist attractions.

Staff was very helpful. Also allows leaving luggage after check out which provides more time to walk around Florence before our scheduled departure time. Continental breakfast was simple but it is sufficient. We also had to leave early one day for a guided tour and they give out breakfast bags. The place was very close to the central train station, mercato centrale and all the important sights in Florence. Only thing to improve would be maintenance of room. Some things in room were broken like the closet door. Toilet bowl was also too high even for 5'7". I was on my tippy toes when seated. If you only need a place to sleep, best bang for your buck with breakfast included and proximity to places.

We actually booked here last minute, I read some not so nice comments but the air conditioner Works fantastic you just have to set it we kept hours on 23 I believe and it was very cool we were there from May 1st to May 10th and it was very hot on some days and we were totally comfortable, the staff is extremely helpful, breakfast was great the regular eggs and they had bacon they had fruit coffee machine was great we got cappuccinos every morning they have rolls they had a toaster it was pretty good the place is what you make it and it's right near the train station to supermarkets, it was actually a great stay and we would stay there again.
