Log Cabin with loft

This is the real McCoy! Hand hewed logs built from two, 100 year old tobacco barns and other recycled materials, this cabin looks rustic while covering the bases. Ample 500 sq. feet open floor plan provides sleeping loft with queen bed, kitchenette featuring a red cedar counter top, oak dinette, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Sitting area has ample seating in front of a rock fireplace. A sleeping corner holds a queen bed topped with antique hand made quilt. Bathroom houses quaint "sheep waterer" shower. Furnished with vintage bits and bobs the decor is a feast for the imagination. Outdoor fire pit area includes chairs and a gas cooking grill. Very private without being isolated our cabin nests on seven acres along side our home and flower farm, located within minutes of Jordan Lake State Recreational Area, downtown Pittsboro as well as Apex and Carrboro/ Chapel Hill.-Go Heels!

Weekend Getaway
We enjoyed two nights in this fun, quirky cabin. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay Nearby Pittsboro is a delightful small town with a surprising number of shops and restaurants. We had a great dinner at Doherty"s Irish Pub. One night we relaxed with a fire in the firepit located just outside the cabin. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This is a great spot to relax and explore the surrounding areas.

What a fun stay for two longtime friends to reconnect. Cabin provided good beds, comfortable sitting areas, and adequate kitchen area for our breakfasts and lunches. Nearby Pittsboro offered tasty meals and sightseeing.

Quiet get away
Fantastic and quaint cabin located on a farm. Very spacious yet rustic feel that allows for A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Bonus was the availability to pick our own blueberries in the garden and to pick from her flower garden. It was very accommodating for my wife, daughter and dog. It is a good driving distance from the major cities in the triangle. Trish was a fantastic host and very accommodating. Have already started looking at booking in the fall.

Hillsboro Stop
This was just a one night stop passing through to rest but this was one of the most creatively built, authentic, beautiful and comfortable cabins we have been in. The details are amazing. The host was extremely communicative and hospitable. She has a beautiful flower garden we got to enjoy and stretch our legs in too. It was a little creepy. There were no curtains over the kitchen windows and the bed was just a bit away and the blind in living room didn’t close properly. The bed was wobbly and the quilt had stains on it. Host was nice but it felt like we had no privacy because we were literally in view from her house.

Sweet Cabin
My son is in college in GA, and i live in PA. This was the perfect place to meet just about half way!! We went to a hockey game, took in the sites at Jordan lake. Visited Apex and Cary and let me just say THE BEST FOOD in NC!! We will be back for sure! The cabin is beautifully sweet and the hosts are very sweet as well. Very friendly and helpful🙂

Great Stay
Really enjoyed the cabin! It was decorated really funky and cool! I loved the owners imprint on the place you can tell they really love the space. Only issue I had was that in the pictures there appears to be a burner on the countertop and it’s described as a Kitchenette but only has a microwave and mini fridge, so I bought a lot of food that I was not able to use 😕. Other than that, perfect stay, cozy , relaxing, supplies a short distance away. Responsive and helpful host. Would definitely stay again
