On checkin we were given a key to a room that was not cleaned. The front desk person was not particularly friendly although she did rectify the room for us. There was a strange odour in the hallway. Our room was fine and while we realize it was meant to be simple, it could have used some updating. The shower was very nice and the bed was fine. Breakfast was not what we were expecting at an Amish Inn - plastic wrapped food in a cramped alcove. The breakfast seating area was large. Also the exterior was a disappointment as I thought it would be tidy similar to Amish farms in the area. Instead it was mostly dirt and weeds outside. Overall an average stay, the old reviews on the website are misleading.

For breakfast you get a 5 dollar voucher for their snack store. I was the only car in the parking lot . No coffee in lobby area. The room was clean and that is all it had going for it. Oh course the outside pool was filled and ready to swim beginning of may
