Great economical motel. Clean and convenient to restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at Claramount Club. The harbour front rooms are very well done. Great furniture and layout. Felt very private and enjoyed the view of the harbour from the balcony. Bathroom was really well done with a huge walk in shower. The food from the on site restaurants and cafe was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed using the boardwalk to walk into town as well. Overall a great experience.

The property was clean, spacious, and generally well stocked. I travelled with 4 other women and found the unit was a good size for us. Unfortunately the check-in process was challenging. On our first night, we were surprised by a man walking all the way into our unit with his family looking for their own unit. Evidently, the same access code he received for his unit also unlocked our door. We found this quite unnerving and requested the host to change our access code, not knowing who else might have access to our unit. We also found noise travelled quite a bit within the unit and between units, with even light footsteps and normal conversation carrying across. While it was fine for us, this complex would be difficult for families with young children or those who require more privacy. The unit was mostly well-stocked, however there did not appear to be tea towels for the kitchen or extra supplies, like garbage bags or paper towels. The unit had wifi but given the remote location, the signal was quite weak.
