After reading the reviews, our expectations were on the lower side, but the suite was beautiful, and HUGE! I truly don't understand the negative reviews. The king suite was spotless, and incredibly spacious! Mud room, living room with pull out sofa, large bedroom, large bathroom, and even a separate room just for the jacuzzi. Wifi was strong (for us), and staff were extremely helpful & courteous. 10/10 would definitely book again :)
Dining room was closed and then in AM was told that it did not open for breakfast until 10:00 until12:00. The rooms were quite a long walk with rough walking. Rooms had a large jacuzzi tub in bedroom which was very loud and there was a tv and electric fireplace but both faced away from the bed and chairs could not be placed in front of them. Bathrooms were also very small. I would not recommend this property.
Great stay and rooms were clean and tidy. Very comfortable and grounds are in good condition. Unfortunately the Restaurant on the Knoll was not open on Sunday and Monday Labour Day, would have been nice to have dinner on site although we had a good time on Saturday night dinner with the sunset before our eyes.
We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. We got an upgrade to a king bed with a in room jacuzzi. The originally room I booked for was a 2 queen bed. I didn't confirm or was asked if I wanted an upgrade. The floor in our room was filthy. During our stay, our room was never cleaned. There was no housekeeping. I felt our room was a downgrade because the TV was only viewable from one side of the bed. The TV cabinet didn't open all the way and blocked view. The shower head barely worked. The outdoor pool was closed. No ice machine. The reason we booked this resort was for the amenities. None of the amenities were open. This was a huge disappointment. They charged more than other places for the amenities. Not to mention this resort was in the middle of no where and a shuttle would have been useful. On the day that we left, I asked for a receipt, they emailed me the receipt for what they received from Hotel.ca and resorts royalty. This was unprofessional. I saw the difference of what I paid and what the real cost was.
Overall, I wouldn't have booked with them if I knew the state of the place.
The property and buildings are extremely run down. Our room was at the Inn. Only one window that had natural light and it overlooked the dilapidated pool.
Found out restaurant was closed for that day and the next. This is a small area with very few food choices which made dinner a challenge.
No wifi in room as promised. I had a meeting the following morning and we had to leave early to go to Picton for Wifi. We contacted the front desk the night before inquiring and were told that there was Wifi in the office if we wanted to leave our room and use it!! When checking out I expressed my disappointment with this. The individual checking me out mentioned this to the manager, who said the couldn't do anything about it.
Nice little spot. Excellent restaurant on site and super friendly service staff.
Joyous experience, I will go back.

Rooms were dated and there was carpet with burns in our room. Wifi was available only in one corner, signal was alright but with two computers it did not work. Blinds were plastic (they did the job) however with lights outside on the proch it was very light in our room. No parking in proximity of our 2nd floor room.

Liked: Cleanliness
Pool was not in use.
We were the downstairs room and on the second night we had a couple with children above us. Needless to say the sound proofing is really not adequate in this facility.
We could here all the jumping and screaming all evening.
very disappointed.
Very rare do I write a review, however in this case, is was necessary
The room that I had rented showed pictures of cute , clean white rooms. They are yellow brown and stink of old beer and mildew. The rooms are in very poor repair. The carpets are so worn they are gone in high traffic areas and the balcony going to the rooms felt like I would fall through. I’m not sure they would pass public health inspections and not sure how they are still open to the public. The bathroom shower is a dirty little cubicle that is smaller than an RV. I was horrified by my room and would not let my child sleep in the room.
